oh what a match. 2 unbeaten teams providing a fitting finale, fantastic display of fighting spirit and India demonstrating that match ain't over until the last ball is played.
So many highlights
SA overcoming the reputation of being chokers. Them faltering in the end was not choking but rather getting outplayed by the magicians Bumrah, Hardik and of course SKY
India
- deserved winners having beaten the bests in the world
- proving that they have what it takes to come back from an impossible situation
- are no longer about just their star performers, every team member is a star
- big match players delivering and justifying their selection(well almost everyone)
This win will stay in the memory for a long time.
Whist I am happy that Virat got POTM on his last T20 international appearance, I feel Hardik deserved it a little more.
Anyway another prediction game that I enjoyed, finished just out of top 10 but that hardly matters given India ended up winning the real trophy.
