STAT: First 50+ score for Shakib Al Hasan in the last 20 T20I innings and first in the last 17 innings in the T20 World Cups.
Shakib going to take all pts today
Bangladesh get 159 for 5. They got 54 off the last five overs, mostly in boundaries. It is a good score but will it be enough? Shakib was the glue in that innings as he finishes unbeaten on 64 off 46 balls. Aryan Dutt started well getting Shanto and Litton inside the powerplay. Shakib and Tanzid put on a nice partnership, but regular wickets kept Netherlands in the game. Bangladesh did get close to 160 in the end, thanks mainly to Shakib's fifty, but they need to bowl well to keep Netherlands from chasing this down.
Bangladesh post 159 on the board! Inserted to bat, they lost a couple of early wickets with Shanto and Litton falling to Aryan Dutt. Tanzid Hasan and Shakib counterattacked to stitch a 48-run stand for the third wicket. Paul van Meekeren broke that partnership and Netherlands bowled a few quiet overs. Towhid Hridoy couldn't make an impact and Mahmudullah went after Tim Pringle after a slow start. Shakib, who came in at the fourth over, remained unbeaten till the end and took his team's total close to 160. Dutt and van Meekeren were impressive with the ball but the others weren't disciplined. 160 may not be an easy chase for Netherlands as there's variable bounce and some assistance for the spinners. It's a crucial encounter and this could go down to the wire. The chase is coming up in a bit...

2.1 Taskin to Levitt, no run
Huge shout from Taskin for caught behind. Not given. LItton has a long chat with the bowler, they won't go for it in the end. Looked like an outswinger off the hand, seam was pointing towards first slip but that hit the seam and jagged back in. Levitt tried to defend straight and was cut in half. Close to the inside edge but no contact

Taskin Ahmed to Michael Levitt, SIX, wow, that's some shot! Fuller than a length on off, Levitt shuffles across the stumps, bends his back knee and swipes across the line over square leg. Excellent pick-up and it sails over the boundary
There's a direct hit at the bowler's end and Bangladesh are celebrating.
