12:30 Local Time, 07:00 GMT, 12:30 IST: You know what is common to India's title winning ICC campaigns in 1983, 2011 and 2013? They didn't face NZ at all. One might agree or not, NZ is India's bogey team. Be it the 2000 ICC KnockOut Tournament final, the 2019 WC semis or the latest Test Championship final, India despite seeming to be the favourites just couldn't topple the Tasmanian challenge. Hello and welcome to our coverage of the semi-final 1 between India and New Zealand. India are as blemishless as a newly carved glass top. NZ started off on fast lanes, then changed tracks to stumble around a little and then pipped the last hurdle to make it just in time.
There have been so many conjectures about India. They have peaked too early. The law of averages will soon catch hold of them. Then conspiracy theories such as India getting different balls compared to other teams. It seems their brand of cricket just has been inexplicable for a lot of people. India have been so dominant that they have hardly broken much sweat while churning out wins during the league stages. But it is also true that NZ were one of the teams which ran India very close. India will have to take inspiration from Australia of the 2003 and 2007 World Cups where they won the campaigns without dropping a game.
Thanks for the tag Madhu
All the best to both teams but

- Kohli averages 12.16 from six knockout games in ODI World Cups. Williamson hasn't been great in his seven games at this stage either. He averages 34.67 with a solitary fifty that came at Old Trafford four years ago.
- With 16 wickets so far, Ravindra Jadeja has gone past Anil Kumble and Yuvraj Singh for most wickets in a World Cup edition for an Indian spinner.
Yes kohli n willy have been avg in wc knockouts.. infact all the indian batsmen in the past few years especially since 2011 wc!
But this time kohli has a good support from middle order as rahul, shreyas n sky are in good touch too..Even jadu has found some touch with the bat!
So kohli can play freely n rohit will as usual go berserk from the ball one...shubhman is his able ally in the war of cricket 👍
Win it today boissssss. …..
