So many bios! πŸ˜†

Thanks for posting them though, esp Jonny & Simone's.

It's crazy how Luke T took over Jonny's role in King Lear only to play his younger brother now. Small world! (of theater)

Imma reading When He Was Wicked and so far nothing extraordinarily engaging if you will. πŸ˜•

God I miss the TVWLM energy! SO MUCH!

The instant hate, the confusion of how could they like each other, the self contemplations and ofc the attraction.

Will I ever get that kinda thing back? 😭

Hah! A woman after my own heart! Never thought I'd find someone who's be as pro TVWLM as me that even WHWW didn't appeal! πŸ˜† Most readers love that one and the angst but I can't wrap my head around the low-key gaslighting that happens in that book. I do recognize that TVWLM has some problematic elements but still feel it's less compared to her other books. Frannie just annoys me in this one, and Michael can get really unlikeable at times, especially later in the book. So yeah it's definitely not MY fave!

I think after TVWLM I like Hyacinth's book the best, she's delightful & Gareth & she are just fun together!

I'm around 45 pages in and SO BOREDDDD! Out my wits!

I'm still in the initial stages so I don't know whether I'll like it or not but seriously as of now - BLAH. No energy, no material and no banter vexation, which is confusing because they're supposed to be friends and that's what you expect. Them having fluffy, mildly insulting words thrown at each other. But - wo tho hai hi nahi...beech beech mein Michael is pining for Franny apne hi mann mein, bina koi action. 🀣

Well I’m one of those that didn’t love the book so wrong person to be offering an objective opinion πŸ˜…! But I think most people like it for the hot scenes! πŸ˜‚ And the pining that Michael does (apparently that makes him the best Bridgerton hero!) πŸ˜…

JQ isn’t the greatest HR author imo, Lisa Kleypas, Tessa Dare etc are sooo much better

Haven't read Tessa dare as far as I can remember but Lisa kleypas is an author whose books one can re read for sure. Not all her books are great but some are definitely better and worth a second glance. Has anyone read the Hathaway series?

I don’t know about re-reading Lisa’s books but I loved many of them on first read! The Hathaways are definitely up there among her best! I loved Leo and Cath’s story! Tessa’s books though are worth a re-read imo (some of them) cos they are so funny! πŸ˜†
