Are there any more details? I understand the original Dholida Dhol Re is a traditional folk song so there can't be a copyright on it. A Google search will show that so many singers have sung it over the years!

It is back again as a fresh upload.
Such things happen, especially for a new and inexperienced team.
I think people like Aru/Sonu were sent copyright violation notices too.
That is, perhaps, the reason why they have not promoted the song.

They might, once the dust settles.
For folk tunes like this I expect more copyright strikes.
I was only half joking when I had said that there may be copyright claims which is delaying launch.

But in the long run I expect things will get sorted out and Jitu and his team would be better at the game from this experience.

EDIT: Gone again. Maybe they are trying get the views back. When I saw it it had 24 views.

Interestingly, the JIOSAVVN upload remains in place. It may be oversight or copyright claim may be on the video aspect. Hard to say.
Also, strangely on YouTube Music.

What kind of claim can be made on traditional folk songs? How does that work?

Claims can cover things other than lyrics. Maybe a claim on beat or tune. Remember the Anu Malik and Israeli National Anthem debate? That was tune related. Could be dance choreography claim.
Frivolous claims are not made against strong producers who will serve you notice for damage. Jitu Boro is a good target even if the claim is frivolous.

This tune itself is a folk tune - at least the main hook. And using folk tunes for contemporary songs has been done many times - I would say it is rather the norm by now.

I hope Boro is able is to sort this out quickly and re-release the song.
