Although this won’t change the number of tickets sold and money earned, corporate booking also matters in the long run. That’s why footfalls are a better indicator of which one really had a better authentic opening.

you are right, I added some more content to that original post, the ticket price varies so that will affect the BO collection but I guess there won't be much difference as far as tickets sold are concerned provided the occupancy reported is correct.

I guess the member is referring to Shraddha Kapoor, neither Vidya Balan nor Madhuri Dixit.

So basically it means that BB3 sold more tickets than SA yet SA has a higher BO collection than BB3, this indicates that SA sold more higher priced tickets than BB3.

Isn't 35-37 crores low for Singham Again with a big popular cast and budget.BB 3 gave a good competition to Singham Again I will say. Also why other sites are reporting both the movies of having higher opening than what BOI reported. Is BOI more authentic or other websites are

but shraddha has a part in making stree franchise iconic, she was the only star in the movie who has given a blockbuster before too. Here, there is the og BB girl vidya who made it iconic and superstar madhuri dixit. Kartik is just surviving on sequels of iconic movies of others lol

Kartik is a weak actor but I appreciate him for his efforts to at least trying to do different roles like Dhamaka , Freddy and Chandu Champion and balancing it out with films like BB3.

I personally want BB3 to end up becoming a bigger hit than Singham Returns. I want the latter to flop really badly for some reason.smiley35

I guess I am annoyed because Khans/Devgan/Kumar have milked their "superstardom" to the point that its disgusting and eye-rolling. smiley29 They are ~60 years old for GOD's sake.smiley44 They should either gracefully retire or permanently shift to doing character roles like Amitabh did.

The angry young men (Amitabh, Dharmendra, Jitendra, Vinod, Mithun, Rishi etc) had to eventually give up by early-to-mid 90s, because the audience turned to the younger lot of actors. I am desperately waiting for a similar kind of shift in Bollywood. I hope it happens by the end of this decade.
