So was kumar sanu when he tried acting in mid 90s....and kisi ke look per baat krne se pehle kumar sanu ko seeshay me apna chera bhi dekh lena chaiya

90s was he era for all types of movies be it acton like ghayal, ghatak, soldier

or thrillers like gupt, humraaz, ajnabee

or romance like DDLJ, KKHH, HAHK, DTPH

or comedy like govindas comedy movies

It was an all round era which is missing after 2005

Also 1990s is goldern era of music as shanu da said. After 60s first time such melodious music came in bollywood

I guess those who do not know hindi properly(like kumar sanu) will not word it correctly but after 2005 no classic good looking hero heroine with good acting skill has come like 90s

Look at 90s saif ali khan, arjun rampal, hrithik, salman, fareden khan and bobby deol

Even second rung of looking heros were great like akshay khanna, akshay kumar, amir khan, srk, sunny, sanjay dutt etc who were not really good looking like those above italian studs kind

can you compare any hero after 2005 who debuted to these handsome hunks never ever

They can only be compared to 60s hero like rajendra kumar, dilip kumar, sanjay khan, feroz khan, dharmendra, jeetendra, rajesh khanna at most in hndsome ness (even 60as guys pale out in front of most 90s handsome heros)

And 90s heroines were classic beauty like 1960s heroines from madhuri, raveena, monisha, juhi chawla, karishma, sonali

I doubt such handsome hero or heroine will come on screen another 30 years again. actully most of these debuted by 1995 except hrithik, faredden so after 1995 no great looking hero, heroine has come actually almost 30 years already

In heroine deepika, katrina has come but they cannot act, dance, dress like madhuri, juhi, raveena

Kumar Sanu sang some nice songs even in 2010s
