Yes coz in Islam only a wife can have a husband's sperm inside her body where as in surrogacy the woman carrying the husband's sperm is not his wife. It is totally prohibited.

And also I genuinely know people who have problem conceiving and those people get very emotional and have a lot of depression...have seen people getting broken when a 'genuine suggestion' is made..let's not be toxic like those reddit groups

If it's the husband than she can leave him...
