It had been their mother who mediated between the brothers and decided who got what (Anil got the whole of Reliance group...it's an interesting read what he then did).

It had been five years ago when Mukesh (the elder brother) bailed him out because Anil was accused to have not paid his due to a Swedish co-operating enterprise by paying the debt.

Already before, Anil showed non-reliability vis-à-vis his shareholders.

When Anil declared bankruptcy (in England!), it wasn't really accepted as a member already wrote here.

He still has to pay more than 700 million dollar to 3 Chinese banks and he also figured in the Panama Papers.

So, at the moment Anil has three cases against him: false declaring of bankruptcy, payment to 3 Chinese banks, tax evasion...

I suppose that makes the relation between the two brothers a bit difficult.

What I find somehow paradox: Anil got flack from the family when he wanted to marry Tina as she came from the filmindustry...now Anil is not the one who mingles with film-people
