Aish would have looked quite graceful in a Saree, regardless of her weight. It's been a while since we saw her in a saree, particularly at Cannes.

yes it is but look at Sangeeta biljani whose in her 60s and in great shape then there is even Sonali bandre whose just year or so younger and then her and she looks just as good as she did years ago they seem to be reserving in age. There others but these two stood out like Malika as they also in shape and Sonali and karishma ,Raveena Tandon 49. Shipla shetty who’s 48. Madz whose 57 body is normal but her facial features are good. I highlighted sangeeta as shes older and as great body at her age and then Sonali just saw recent pictures and she whose 49 which is just one year difference looks amazing overall. Point most these women who in mid 40s to early 50s and older most are in shape or healthy they don’t have to be a Malika aora khan whose gym freak and as one the best abs which is tough. Regarding age as health issues or bone structure no idea. She’s in the public eye so it will be under scrunity. Kristi ally whose pretty to used to be under scrunity by the media n etc.

But yes main thing most agree it was the dresses not her weight that was being judged this time.

If she is comfortable with her weight, then we are no one to judge her choice. However with advancing age, it is advisable to be into fitness(which doesn't necessarily mean being thin) but going by her public appearances for quite a while now, she doesn't even seem interested in being fit which in turn can have serious health issues..

Wrt her face, whatever procedures she has done have either not settled in or/and don't suit her at all. Not judging her for those procedures either but she needs to find a good doctor/surgeon henceforth.

Her Cannes outings (for the last couple of years as well as this one) have been dismal. Celebrities don't need to be 8walking on red carpet with ill-fitted clothes but big designer labels. Aishwarya Rai could have gone for saree and rocked it like always. Hope that is what she will opt for, for her next Cannes attendance..
