A jazz singer? Sounds boring.
She is not a nurse like Kate Bekinsale in Pearl Harbor? She won't be at the war scene?
“It’s a Love Story That I’m Making After a Long Time”: Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Love & WarTeam FC
Updated:23rd May, 2024 at 1:42 PM
Earlier this month, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali made his highly-anticipated streaming debut with Netflix’s Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Even as the buzz around the opulent show continues, the director is looking to his upcoming film Love & War, which features the exciting combination of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
In a recent interview, Bhansali opened up about the film for the first time: “It’s a love story that I’m making after a long time. A slightly contemporary work, different from the dances, pillars, architecture, drapes, curtains and jewellery.”
He went on to say, “It’s a new language, milieu and ambience for me. I needed very much to excite me as a filmmaker to do something new, to speak of a different period, a different set of characters and new circumstances. It’s nice to work with this wonderful cast of Ranbir, Vicky and Alia. It’ll be nice to see how their chemistry works. And a triangular love story, which has not come in Hindi cinema for a long time. So, let’s see how it all shapes up.”
The film is tentatively slated for a release in December 2025, and promises to be another iconic addition to Bhansali’s filmography.
Ideally this should be about ranbir and Alia ficghting over Vicky.
