I like it when couples show support to each other’s projects It's heartwarming ❤️
This is a very positive review with 3.5 stars. But it’s full of spoilers so I didn’t copy and paste the whole thing. Here are some highlights.
Yodha Movie Review: Critique
Barring a somewhat cliched start, Yodha is a genre-defining film. While Indian cinema has surely produced some fine action-thrillers, Yodha is in a league of its own with its eccentric narrative and breakneck pace, not to mention the heart-thumping cliffhangers. The conviction of directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha makes the atypical screenplay work, so much so that you find yourself rejoicing in the over-the-top climax.
However, one does wish to have gotten to know more about other members of the Yodha task force and the bond they share. Perhaps the racy screenplay did not have the space to accommodate that.
Sidharth Malhotra hits a different form altogether with this one. He has transformed from a soft lover boy to a suave, albeit slightly cocky, leading man calling shots like a boss. He excels in the seamless action sequences, which are a major highlight of the film. While Sid always had a charming presence, in Yodha, he commands the screen.
Outsiders can bring fresh perspectives to the table, offering audiences a whole new experience. That is exactly what directors Sagar Ambre (also the writer) and Pushkar Ojha have done with Yodha. The cherry on top is their on-point execution of the screenplay which is thrilling and not without substance.
Credit where credit is due - Karan Johar deserves brownie points for identifying the storytelling talents of the dynamic duo and giving them a big enough scale and the freedom to just go and express themselves.
Gripping is the word for this Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani starrer. It is that kind of film where you can’t afford to take your eyes off the screen for even a moment. Sleek, ruthless, and action-packed, Yodha is a must-watch.
I don’t know lol. Can you assist on this ?
