It's the same as Katrina in Merry Christmas. The expectations are in the gutter, so managing two different expressions in the same movie is itself considered some sort of achievement for these two.Originally posted by: CrimeMasterToto
Watches the first episode. I really don't understand why it is being praised so much. Very average viewing for the content we have on OTT
Shetty may have mellowed down his over-the-topness but has still retained the most annoying bits of his filmmaking abilities - excessive use of slow mo, awfully shrill bgm and some really senseless plot devices.
Sid looked very smart and sharp and I almost believed that he has improved, but then Vivek showed up in the next scene and showed what actual acting is. They both got identical scenes (such creative writing ) - all is well and good with family, then bad news breaks on phone, and they have to rush out - and tou can see how effective and emotive Vivek was when compared to Sid's wooden act.
Will give it another couple of episodes but so far it looks very mid and blah
