Based on his offscreen past harkat before marriage, it feels hilarious to see RK playing Lord Ram but otherwise if we talk about technicalities RK suits Lord Ram role very well looks wise. I'm not sure how RK and Sai pallavi pairing looks together, otherwise In general I feel Sai pallavi is a perfect choice for Sita's role bcz of her traditional homely looks and her acting abilities

Ranbir is an a c t o r!!! Why on earth should he not play very diverse characters???!!!

My reason to not watch Animal has nothing to do with Ranbir...and I have nothing against him having success in that role.

So, if this movie is made and he plays Lord Ram I wish him doing a performance that will be praised.

To me, the best Ramayana still is the Japanese anime. As film in the 'old' form, I liked the Telugu one (black & white) with Padmini and NTR as Ram. I liked also the Mani Ratman (Tamil) movie with Aish & Vikram & Prithviraj.

Personally, I'm not really interested in another version...but we will see...

It can become an issue if the situation gets out of hand like all the attacks on SLB and the whole Padmavat issue. I understand double standards and misogyny will keep it from reaching that level, but then again, this is Ramayana. Completely different spiritual and emotional connection with the large majority of Indians.
