While it’s true that Hema was his unrequited love because of whom he suffered quite a heartbreak but his heart disease was genetic with all his siblings including him dying before 50. But the biggest collateral damage was incurred by the poor Sulakshana Pandit who lived a long life of suffering and heartbreak due to her unrequited love for Sanjeev.

She was a beauty and top actress. Also had good homely type image not hot babes type like sharmila and zeenat etc So these men parents too used to approve of her. Back in those days parents too had good say in career and marriage decisions of actors n actresses.
