Days after the extremely private wedding ceremony, newlyweds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt threw a party to celebrate the new chapter of their life. This, too, was an intimate celebration with only a few celebrities in attendance.

While most of the industry friends were not seen at Ranbir-Alia's wedding, they decided to send their love and extend good wishes in their own way. After flooding the social media with the sweetest notes for the newlyweds, stars like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra and others gifted them some really expensive presents.

Alia's close friend and co-star of many films, Varun gifted the bride a pair of stunning shoes from Gucci. The heels costs around Rs 4 lakh.

While Anushka Sharma gifted Alia a dress designed by celebrity favourite fashion designer Manish Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor opted for a Gucci jacket for his friend Ranbir. Both the gifts cost almost Rs 1.5 lakh. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh gifted a Kawasaki Ninja H2 R to the groom.

Material gifts don't mean anything for rich people. All of the above mentioned items they can buy by themselves without it creating any kind of dent in their bank accounts.

For a middle-class family, gifts are a big deal because they wouldn't really have bought some of those things by themselves. So gifts lose meaning for the rich.
