Good it is flopping.

Opening theaters in pandemic is such a dumb decision anyways. So serves them right.

Does anyone know the song name that was played when Akshay Kumar's character imagines his mother during his wedding at the gurudwara? What song is that? It is not in the song list.

Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom

Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom

Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom saw quite a successful launch as the film rolled Rs 12.65 Cr with a theatrical release amid the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic in India. While the film has been receiving praises from all quarters, it seems to have landed on a difficult spot for its content offending to a few middle countries.

According to a Times of India report, the film was recently banned in a few countries for allegedly tampering with historical facts.

'Bell Bottom' is based on a real-life incident set during the time when Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister of India. It is a story of an aeroplane hijacked in the 1980s. The film certification in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar has banned the film for allegedly 'tampering with historical facts.'

The report also suggested that the second half of ‘Bell Bottom’ shows the hijackers taking the aircraft to Dubai from Lahore.

A Bollywood Hungama report quoted a source saying, “The second half of Bell Bottom shows the hijackers taking the aircraft to Dubai from Lahore. As per the actual incident that took place in 1984, United Arab Emirates Defence Minister, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, had personally handled the situation and it was the UAE authorities who had nabbed the hijackers."

The source further added, “So there’s a strong possibility that the Censor Board in the Middle Eastern countries must have taken objection to it and hence banned it."
