It's more a matter of lighting than lightening in the last two photos Look at her other before pic and her glamour shot after pics - it's the same skin tone

I don't find her pretty at all either but I really do not expect all my actresses to be good looking. It freaking bothers me that you can't be a leading actress in Bollywood if you don't meet their look standard. Girls are allowed to be plain, and ordinary looking. There should be representation for that as well.

Too much cosmetic correction done at a time at very young age. She looks bland.

I mean sorry no offence but...her face just looks way too harsh and unnatural She totally went overboard with those bad cosmetic surgeries and because of that, she can hardly move her face(forget about emoting!). And don't even get me started on those lip fillers....thanks to that, her unusually large lips are all over the place

So because of this catastrophe...Jhanvi already looks older than her age and she can easily pass off as a 30 year old woman

I mean who the heck will really believe that this girl is actually 23?

Am I the only one that finds someone making a discussion point on the internet about how much they dislike the way somebody else looks quite crass? Am I the only one who finds it cheap and disgusting? I mean, why the hell do you even care how somebody else looks? They look the way they look, you don't like it? Move on.

I can't resist commenting on this one. If we were talking about surgeons, I don't think anyone would care two **'s how they looked. The only reason Janhvi or Alia or some others come under scrutiny for their looks (or lack of good looks) is because they're in the showbiz industry. You might not find it in good taste but expecting such virtuous parameters where people refrain from discussing looks .... on a bollywood forum that's literally dedicated to discussing these actors who try to pass themselves off as glam dolls is expecting too much. I have found so many distasteful remarks on sexuality, misogyny and sl*tshaming that are all equally problematic. In comparison, people's judgments on looks are at least subjective. But you gotta take it all with a pinch of salt like everything else here.
