Shahrukh Kajol changed their handle names on Twitter to celebrate 25 years❤️ even Parmeef did.. they might have done some sort of event if not for COVID.. but ahh well.. so happy for the entire team, more so for Shah of course😆

It's so cringeworthy that a statue of Shahrukh and Kajol, about whom nobody gives a damn in London, would be there with some of the other wonderful statues. It would be so shameful for India when English people would be like who the hell are these two and then cringe hard.

I wonder how much Aditya Chopra paid for this. I don't know why Yash Raj are trying to force this film, which is pretty much irrelevant now, onto everyone and trying to maintain a false legacy by doing all this dramas like paying monthly for running empty shows in a Bombay theater and now this.

Batman promotes vigilantism and Bugs Bunny was a jerk in the Looney tunes cartoons. They too don't deserve a statue.

SRK's character didn't have manners. He entered Karishma's room without knocking and when she called him out on that, he was justifying it by calling it "equality" because she too enters his room without knocking.

I must be few who hates DDLJ in 90s. OK that also depends if you were small kid or adult

Adults loved DDLJ i guess

actually i hated DDLJ because it was regressive - a man working in london wants to marry his educated daughter to a villager who does that?

KKHH was another nonsense movie - kajol dressed in pant and shirt and short hair is not wife material, kajol in saree and long hairs is marriage material what misogynistic nonsense

Than came that horrible K3G men always crying women too crying but not as worst as men. OK adopted son if hes obedient is son but if he wants to marry his choice becomes bad and not own blood? father dies two daughters need boy friends protection? what nonsense? So f father did not die SRK had come to say i cannot marry you as dad said no???? So died died so lover married girl????

So i hate all three movies, ok all three i saw on TV only few years later or in cable later

I think better movies of 90s were satya, damini, shool, kamoshi, bombay, gupt,machis etc they had good story and can be watched many times without getting bored

than there are commercial ones like ghatak, ghayal, krantiveer, soldier, andaz apna apna, jo jeeta woh sikandar etc that were good commerical ones

I think i would prefer manoj bajpee's statue in london than a SRK going by content and acting skills or a director like mani ratnam or santoshi to karan johar/aditya chopra

Soldier had a guy using a girl by making her fall in love with him for his revenge.

Andaz Apna Apna had two guys running behind a girl for her money. Also had romanticized eve teasing scenes.

Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar had a guy deceiving a girl to make her his girlfriend and later feeling no remorse for it.

This also seems really problematic.
