Being 'hit' doesn't lessen the fact that it was HUGELY problematic. If this movie belonged to Hollywood, it would've been canceled eons ago.

There are so many problematic hits in both Hollywood and Bollywood! Every Wax statue should come under cancel culture too

This movie had cheesy moments, harassment in the name of flirting in today’s ME too, there was also depiction of how NRI Indian parents who still are the same holding onto Indian value system. Doesn’t take away that the movie also brought out the struggle of most folks in love balancing heart and family/society pressures

“Filled with nostalgic scenes of Leicester Square from over 25 years ago” - That’s one of the reasons for the statue. No problem with that, right
