Was bhagyashree considered a good actress?... She did the whole mumbling sehmi hui ladki thing in that first film.. Uske elava??? I haven't watched any of her other films so no idea

Yeah although she suited the Suman role, Bhagyashree seemed like an an average-ish actress, plus I couldn’t really imagine her in many types of roles tbh, only quiet, super sanskari good girl 🤷🏽‍♀️

Divya on the other hand could’ve fit into lots more roles and she added something special to every film she was in, not just playing her character well but more than that ✨

I haven't seen Bhagyashree in that many movies apart from Maine Pyar Kiya (and later when she was a bit older in Humko Deewana Kar Gaye in a side role).

But I prefer Divya Bharti. Agree with others on her range and capabilities compared to Bhagyashree.

its sad we lost a very good actress at such a young age 😭

Bhagyashree didn't act enough to display her versatility, so difficult to compare the two. Also, a good first performance doesn't mean she has the tenacity to plow through. Divya had great screen presence - she reminded me so much of SriDevi in some films.

Also didn't like Bhagyashree's dialog delivery.

Not a fan of any of them, find them rude and snotty.

Divya is prettier but I can’t bear to watch her on screen, would rather watch bhagyashree.. very pleasant to watch.

Both were very pretty but Divya for me! I adored her as a kid and thought she was the cutest

MPK was mainly her story although salman was good though

I loved her acting and the way she spoke..she was absolutely pretty and cute.

Divya for sure was a better dancer than Bhagyashree.😆
