and let me be really honest...no one..I repeat no one in my known circle has considered them less attractive because of their skintone🤢

I agree indians have a little inclination towards gora rang but it does not mean they are totally blind to other things....features height figure matters equally for them

This is Kalki in Margarita with a straw. Compare this with Anushka in zero.

Kalki plays the rich suspicios fiance quite well in ZNMD. She also plays rich in GB . Both performed differently.

She was amazing in Dev D as well (her debut).

Kalki is gora ok, but most indians wont consider her conventionally beautiful like Kat and amy Jackson.

I think kalki has made a place in the industry because:

1. She can fit in the role of the gora lady often seen in films.

2. Acting acchi kar leti hain when given strong roles.

3. Hindi bhi bol leti hain, unlike other white imports.

I hardly use the word overrated in this forum because it’s sooooo freaking overused, here just because people love being compulsive contrarians. But Kalki is genuinely one of the most overrated actors in BW. She was awful in DevD and anything else I have seen her in

I liked her in her conventional YJHD and unconventional Margarita in a straw - She can pull off various characters with ease, also has good screen presence!

she's love.. really like her as an actor.. and she's got personality unlike most of the other female actors.. they are so bland and "PC"..

Some people are bit sniffy about Kalki.For some she might be the best actress around and for some she might not but come on she ain't bad.She is a good actress.
