He is inconsistent, some are funny (despite misogyny) rest are trash... koi bhi angle se funny nahin.

Depends on which film he copied.

I like Hero no.1 and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi

All others are trash.

Hate to see how he projects the female characters in his movies.

His films have definitely not aged the best but he's been very lucky when it comes to the actors, technicians and the music team he worked with. They are still entertaining because of these other factors.

Govinda and Kader Khan were fab actors with great comic timing. So was Shakti Kapoor. Karishma was an amazing dancer and complemented Govinda the best. His technicians did a great job. And David got the best songs- from Sajid Wajid (now) to Anand Milind (then), the latter have legit made him who he is with albums like Hero No 1, Coolie No 1, Raja Babu, Swarg, Bol Radha Bol, Chal Mere Bhai.

When you see his current films you realise how much of his career was made by others. Varun is not even close to Govinda, Sara-Taapsee-Jacky are no Karishma, there can't be another Kader Khan/Satish Shah/Paresh Rawal. And the music for all his films post Partner show how much his films depended on good music. No owner he is recycling them for his remakes.

David always needed set people to make a good film. Without them his releases would be average/duds.

Before Varun Dhawan became his main hero, for sure.

VD's acting is so stale it makes bread want to cry.
