Pati Patni Aur Woh And Panipat Saturday Estimates

Pati Patni Aur Woh has had another good day with collections of 11.50-11.75 crore nett as per early estimates which gives it a total of 20 crore nett in two days. The growth on day two is around 40% which is decent growth for this type of film. A few years back it would have excellent growth but things have changed now as the openings are relatively weaker compared to a few years back.

The growth now has to be over 50% for this type of film today to be good growth and films like Dream Girl, Bala and Chhichhore all did this and more. Still its decent growth and enough to ensure that Pati Patni Aur Woh is a success though the weekdays will tell if it can become a HIT.

Panipat is set for a second day of 5.75-6 crore nett to have a two day number of a little under 10 crore nett. The growth of the film is actually more than Pati Patni Aur Woh at the major multiplexes but it hardly makes much difference as the numbers remain low.

The film will show growth of 40-45% which would have actually been good for a film of this genre if it had some sort of opening number. The film was hardly going to get appreciation in North and East India and that is what happened as that audience has rejected the film. Maharashtra and surrounding areas might have some takers but that also depends on what happens on Monday and Maharashtra will not be enough for the film to survive.

Watched it. Ill give it 4/5 pretty enjoyable. Karthik is a hero in comedy ⭐️

I saw the movie and it was nice! It was funny for sure, although its not perfect and I felt that the movie could've been more IMPACTFUL.

For me Kartik was the soul of the movie. He had various shades to show and I found that he emoted quite well. He made you feel bad for him even though he was in the wrong. I also didnt find his performance similar to Luka Chuppi or Sonu - it was different. He does need to fix his looks though - his face is too skinny, hair too big and then he has a bit of a paunch/thin arms. He looked good in PKP-2 and SKTKS. Maybe it was for this movie, but still.

Bhumi was good too but I find she looks too old sometimes. Shes young but she looks like she's in her late 30's.

Ananya LOOKED really beautiful and for the most part she acted well. I found that she excels in loud scenes. Her dialogue delivery sometimes is too "soft" if that makes sense. Its too gentle and does not leave an impact. Im not going to be too hard on her though, I do think shes one of the better nepotism products and I think she has all the ingredients to be a huge star.

Aparshakti was good too, he's lost a lot of weight! He is getting typecasted though.

Also - that famous dance step that has made Kartik go viral, that thing he does with his feet - that part isnt even in the movie LOL so weird!

Pati Patni Aur Woh Set To Be A HIT

Pati Patni Aur Woh is set to emerge a HIT as it hold well on Monday with collections set to cross the 5 crore nett mark. The Monday collections of the film should be in the range of 5.25 crore nett which is a 40% drop from the first day.

The four day figures of the film are around 38.50 crore nett plus and it should cross the 50 crore nett mark for the first week. It will be second Friday which will tell if the film is a HIT as it will have to have a decent second week as the first week will be good but not excellent.

The film also has to negotiate Wednesday well as that has seen films like Bala, Marjaavaan and Commando 3 show big noticebale drops. The film has again down best in Delhi / UP with a better hold than most other markets.

The other release Panipat is a big flop as it will collect around 2.50 crore nett on Monday which will take it to the 20 crore nett mark in four days. The drop is pretty much similar to Pati Patni Aur Woh but the collections are not there. The film was rejected by most parts of India on day one itself and on day four even Maharashtra has done the same as numbers come down to low levels.

The first week collections of the film will be around 26-27 crore nett and there will not be much coming after. The film could struggle to do the weekend of Pati Patni Aur Woh in its lifetime.

Looks like a fun movie.
