As much as I wanted to like this, and there are good things about it, it just fell a bit flat. As someone said upthread, they're all rehashing their best characters but in period costumes.

It is good to see peers pitted against each other. We don't see that nearly in enough, big stars up against or with each other. Why don't see more Ajay/Salman, Salman/Akshay, Aamir/Saif, Hrithik/John, combos? Which is a pity because it definitely adds some gravitas to what would otherwise be a very stale trailer.

True. SLB really has that genre by the neck.

I still remember watching the Padmavat trailer and feeling literal goosebumps. Its such a finely cut trailer.. So intense and the background mein RANI SA.. film jaise bhi ho. πŸ˜† WHAT A TRAILER THAT WAS.

SLB is a great filmmaker, imo. The only one who can do justice to the Indianness in every film. Nahi too directors make hero heroines look and feel Western even when they are in kurtas and ghagras πŸ˜†

BM ka first teaser yaad hai? When I saw it I knew ki Dilwale ki lag gayi πŸ˜† It was so intense powerful and royal.

I enjoyed Padmaavat. Especially the Jauhar scene, I broke down in the theatre and the RANI SA background mein toh just added to the scene

Excellent trailer. Good to see Jai Malhar lead in this film. It will do good business.

It's in same period of shivaji but good to see not following overrated garbage slb movies ideas and designs , trailer could have been short though , Kajol dialogue delivery didn't left impact , will be dependent on Ajay and saif to carry the movie.

This forum never ceases to amaze me lol as far as I know according to this forum SLB is a horrible director, but whenever someone else does an epic movie then everyone suddenly jumps on the SLB bandwagon and says that hes the best and so good etc lol decide karlo pehle

I won't deny it. The star cast is brilliant and strong. Ajay vs Saif is looking awesome and both do justice to their roles. That being said, I didn't really get that historical feel from the trailer maybe because of the action. It feels out of place and it seems to be like forcing the place and setting.

Of course, Ajay is a good actor and in the past few years I've begun liking more and more of his movies, so maybe this will turn out to be a great movie and they really had to choose scenes to put in the trailer that wouldn't give away the entire story. But right now I'm not convinced.

I am glad that they are choosing to focus on the history and Ajay and Saif's characters. This could be Saif's Langda Tyagi part 2 (the way Omkara made people sit up and notice him, this could be the same way).

I see a great supporting star cast as well. The only downer was Kajol. She was quite unimpressive and seemed almost blah in the trailer.

Music is catchy.... but CGI is so terrible.... Dialogues seem juvenile too...

The trailer was underwhelming, or may be I was expecting too much due to the hype created via the posters. It looked more gimmicky than real. Didn't give the vibes of a period drama. It's pretty meh😳

This looks like Ajay playing Ajay in a costume. Saif is Langda Tyagi from Omkara in a costume. 'Surgical strike that shook the Mughal Empire' 🀣 I MEAN COME ON! You know just what they are trying to do with this line LMFAO. This is just bad..If I didnt know better I would this is a parody. Noone is even trying anything. The action pieces look good but what a funny mess.

@bold I was like wtf was that, really. Period drama k beech a pinch of Comedy, looked really stupid.

SLB is the benchmark for grand historical movies in Bollywood. It's a fact.
