Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is busy with his next project. The actor has given a hit film – Article 15’which is a box office success and a few upcoming films are in his kitty. Ayushmann starrer Article 15 has collected 58.08 crores* and with this there is one more interesting news. The role of his on-screen parents in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is played by none other than Neena Gupta and Gajrao Rao who played the role of his parents in Badhaai Ho. The movie will showcase a same sex love story.
Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen playing the character of gay. In a recent interview, the actor revealed, “It is a beautiful story told in the quintessential Aanand L Rai style of filmmaking that will touch your hearts and leave a smile on your face. It is one of the most brilliant films that I have read in a long time and it handles the subject of homosexuality really sensitively. It is a pleasure to collaborate again with the master storyteller of our times. It is an out and out entertaining film that will also make you think and that’s the hallmark of good cinema.”
The movie is produced by Anand L Rai and recently he said, “With Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, we chose to explore a novel subject in an unusually unexpected setting. A unique story like this needed talents like Neenaji & Gajraj Rao and I am so happy to have them onboard.”
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan showcased the concept of erectile dysfunction and garnered praises from fans the world for it’s bitter sweet love story of Ayushmann and Bhumi Pednekar.
Neena Gupta and Gajraj were last seen in Badhaai ho and their relationship was too adorable to miss out and the film turned out to do really well at the box office.
