Varun Dhawan in October

For me, he was able to completely rip off his commercial image through October. To say that Dan is a complex character to essay may very well be an understatement. I don't mean to say that Dan is not someone who you won't come across in your everyday life, that is highly likely. But still, just like the rest of us, there is a certain uniqueness about him. His set of values and emotions are starkly different from the ones around him.

Why do you guys think this performance is not even worthy of a Filmfare nomination?

Dan had my heart it was such a beautiful character and very subtle performance. the only thing I didn't like was that the movie didn't have songs in it and it seemed like it just wanted an unhappy ending to be dramric.

BUT I also think that his performance in sui dhaagi was amazing. gosh that puppy scene stole my heart. even though the movie ended up being very unrealistic loved his performance.

I am surprised that his acting in both movies are being underappreciated

In October, he went completely 360 and I was surprised he managed to ace it.

Dan was extremely endearing and relatable. He completely won my heart with beautifully enacted emotions.

Now I really looking forward to movies starring Varun and I hope he does more movies like October.

October is easily one of the best movies of 2018.

Also he started shooting for this movie just 4-5 days after judwa 2. Shows a lot how he can do completely different character and movies. Even his performance in mauji was such a complete performance. He has grown so much❤️. Can't wait for his anti-hero role in kalank now.

Only here he his performance is not being appreciated, on every other platforms his performance is being rated as one of the best and in top 5 of the year.

He was so ENDEARING😃😳

Of course he deserves a nomination for Filmfare & all the accolades for his beautiful potrayal of Dan👏
