Nawaz as usual has got the mannerisms on point... Looks like the makers have addressed some controversial subjects like Babri-Ayodhya, migrants in Mumbai etc. but we all know since it is produced by Shivsena itself, it will be glorification of Thackeray all the way.. I hope they have handled the issues responsibly.. or else we know how these kind of chest thumping movies misleads some section of people..

Oh my god, yes I just watched the Marathi trailer... It is totally different.. the dialogues are not dubbed, they are completely different.. the tone is much more aggressive there.. Such tough words against the immigrants.. No wonder they have blocked the comments section..

I genuinely can't differentiate between two Nawaz characters. He is typecast like Irrfan.

Nawazuddin has repeated 'Uthao lungi bajao pungi' (lift the lungi and *'#$ him) in the film #Thackeray. Clearly hate speech against South Indians... In a film glorifying the person who said it! Are you planning to make money out of this propaganda? Stop selling hate! Scary stuff!

Poetic justice is when a Muslim actor from UP gets to play the part of the revered Marathi bigot in a propaganda film.

The conveniently un-subtitled #Marathi trailer of #Thackeray. So much hate sold with such romance and heroism (Music, tiger roars, applause, jingoism). No solidarity shown to millions of South Indians and immigrants who make #Mumbai great. #HappyElections!

I think true or false representations,...either way more political films should be made in India. Enough with the faltu romance, masala, mindless supposed to be comedy films and remade songs.
But the cinematography is not so good in this film. And Nawaz brings nothing exciting to the table. He's playing himself...same old same old...

Whether we agree with his politics or not, this film looks very interesting. Happy to see Amrita Rao onscreen again.
