Its been ages I saw a topic on him
He just deliver an October and gone in the wind? I see topics on RS and RK regularly even when they dont have films. Isn't varun out of the race too soon or there is nothing left to talk about him anymore?

He is done and dusted only in fantasy world πŸ˜‰

I think October has given him a much needed critical acclaim and heceforth both classes and masses are on board for his movies.

The thing with RK and RS is they were set up as competition from the beginning. RK rejected BBB and Adi was trying to prove that movie could be a hit with someone else. And years later it's continuing with the help of the media. The actors themselves talk about each other the most when mentioning contemporaries because they consider each other to be the best.

Varun is doing great and I'm a fan. But he needs to do a lot more different roles before people consider him as fair competition for RK and RS. And Varun doesn't really have other competition and therefore not many haters πŸ˜† It's obsessed haters that constantly open threads πŸ˜†

Errr not really, nobody cared enough for RS until 2013,this RK vs RS started with BV failing at the box office and RS fans being obnoxious as ever pitted RS against Ranbir. When you start trashing everything related to a certain actor,it's idiotic to expect the other party to stay mum when your fave fails miserably. Its been tit for tat since then...

There are articles from 2011 about how competition for RK was on it's way. The media has continued to write about them since then. And you know how fans jump at the chance to post and discuss those articles. In a way fans got played πŸ˜† Fan behaviour is obnoxious from both groups. There are no victims.

TM I just wanted to add that Varun not being talked about much here doesn't mean he doesn't have fans. It appears his fans are more active on platforms like twitter and instagram. I feel like younger fans prefer those platforms where you can fangirl properly.

On the contrary,

I feel Varun is the only one who might stay longer because there's something about him that just clicksπŸ˜† despite his not-so-good acting skills.

Post October he has earned some critical acclaim tooπŸ‘

Sidharth, Arjun, Aditya, Sooraj etc all will fade away very soon. Some have already.πŸ˜†

And Varun has descent fan-following btw whether its online or outside the internet.

Wow!!! So basically you need to be hyped on India forums to be noted as a star???
Let's be honest. Ranbir before Sanju. For the last 5 years after Besharam was always much talked about celeb on here despite flops and after Sanju he was about to be written off if it wasn't going to be a huge success.

Ranveer with 3 hits, Shahid with 3 hits are much talked on this forums but just coz Varun doesn't have crazy PR overdrive. And no drama with his co-stars. And obviously he with Natasha and not some female co-star for film's publicity. He is being termed done and dusted lol. The guy is well known for 10 consecutive success. Not a single flop. Sui Dhaaga with a month's hype will do better than many of his contemporaries hyped flicks.

Varun right now don't have full on WOM and mega director driven like Ranbir & Ranveer. But Varun came much after and yet took off ahead both until this year they hit back. For whatever time Varun's been around. On that basis, he is much ahead all his contemporaries. And less hyped October which did average business and got him wide acclaim is much better than washouts like Jagga Jasoos, Bombay Velvet, Befikre or Roy
