Shah Rukh Khan to team up again with Chak De! India director Shimit Amin
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan collaborated with director Shimit Amin in 2007 for the sports drama Chak De! India, which revolved around the triumph of the Indian Women Hockey team during the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The film didn't just do phenomenally well at the box-office but is also known to contain one of the best performances by SRK in his long journey of 26 years. Lovers of good cinema were keen to see Shimit and Shah Rukh working together and it might be that their wish may come true after all this while.
A source close to the actor informed Filmfare that the King Khan and Shimit might collaborate for a project soon. The source informed, "Shah Rukh and Shimit gave the blockbuster Chak De! Together and ever since then, the two have often wanted to come together for a film. Things finally seem to be going on the right track and the two may come together once again for a project. The two are still in talks and if everything falls into place, fans will sure get a treat from SRK and Shimit once again after all these years.
Interesting much.
We are hoping for an official confirmation soon from the actor-director duo. Fingers crossed.
