Is it a credible, official agency like BARC which the whole industry follows in a standardized manner? No! Pari with no major promotions or songs managed to open in the same bracket- one cr. less. And no, it did not have a usual holiday release because theatres opened only in the evening across the country. Lootera had commercial aspects? From where? Sonakshi and Ranveer had much lesser star power than Varun, did not have hit films to boast of which they could carry themselves yet. Atleast Varun had those things in his credit-his biggest strength- a huge fanbase. So 5 Cr as an opening alis definitely disappointing.

It only shows that his stardom is only restricted to mass films. The day people come to see him in any movie irrespective of the genre, that day he will be the superstar the forum makes him out to be. And I'm pretty sure he will be one someday looking at his filmography in the future and his dedication.

So sorry, all these tricks to bring in critical success and moderate success/semi hit/average tag that means nothing to you guys when other actors get but suddenly becomes of prime importance when a massy actor gets to prove that October is a hit is only showing the hypocrisy of you guys. I swear if tomorrow Rajkummar Rao or Ranbir /any female lead with a female oriented film gets a semi hit/average tag, you guys will be the first to say these things mean nothing and it's all about box office, etc. I've been there and seen that happening in this forum for the last 7 yrs. Only the actors have changed, the behavior has remained the same.

And terming an opinion on a random topic as 'barking' pretty much shows where you come from and the kind of bubble you'll live in- where one has to only stan your favorite otherwise you're good for nothing. I swear both you (Kalank) and ManmaEmotion jump into everyone's throats and makes everything personal when never someone opposes anything related to Varun as if our reply is going to turn Varun jobless and end his career right away. 😆 Chill, we and our opinions are limited to this forum itself and no one cares about them outside this side, irrespective of whether you're a fan or not. 😆
