Nothing wrong with showing someone finally realizing his mistake but in Bollywood, every time that happens, the guy finally wins the girl. For me, the bigger problem with Badri was that molestation scene which they tried to make light hearted and joke about just because it was a guy and not a girl. And how the girl comes in as the savior by putting the dupatta on Badri. It was such a sick scene, offensive to people of both the genders.
I definitely think the movie would have driven its point across more firmly had they not got together in the end. But, the narrative did some very interesting things with Badri's toxic masculinity that are under appreciated because the woke crowd dismissed the movie based on two scenes, and its target audience is too ignorant to care either way.
I really wish that molestation scene was not made comic. It was distateful af.
