Varun Dhawan is in no mood for make-up. As the actor has been shooting for the film October, he has not used any make-up in the film after director Shoojit Sircar told the actor that he wanted a simple look in the film.
Since Varun is playing a simple, down-to-earth character, the Judwaa 2 actor was told that the look did not want him to end up as a chocolate hero. "Varun has gone through the process earlier in the film Badlapur, where director Sriram Raghavan, wanted Varun to have a simple look for his character in the film. Varun knew that he had to be believable, as Shoojit's movies often resemble reality. Hence, he decided to give his make-up man hardly any work, except to help keep his face and hair in tandem for the scenes, says a source from the sets.

The actor said, "This waste does not need to be here and I am picking this up and putting it in my bag.

The actor has been shooting for the project for a few weeks in Delhi and has constantly been posting about the alarming status of air pollution in Delhi.
He has also seen spending quality time with his contemporaries Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor, who too are in town to shoot for their upcoming film, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The three actors have shared a lot of Instagram stories in the past few days where they can be seen having just the perfect chilled out time.
Talking about October, the film is being touted as a slice of life love story which is being written by Juhi Chaturvedi.
Shoojit, talking about the film, earlier shared, "It is a genre that I have always wanted to delve in. While love and romance have been entwined with Indian cinema, there is abundance in that emotion that everyone can have their own interpretations of. Juhi and I have always tried to create stories from the reflections of real-life moments that we see around us. October is another effort to explore those moments out of simple situations of life.
October is set to release on April 13, 2018.
