Bold - How is not watching Hindi movies = Mocking the Industry/audience ? ...stating the article as is, not even getting into the implied part.

Red - Ghar ki murgi daal barabar kahawat to suni hogi.

Even if we ignore the proverb, its the reverse of hypocrisy, if all

...agar woh kehte tha ki mai sirf apni dukaan ki mithai khata hoon...it would have been hypocrisy...So Hypocrisy needs to replaced with Magnanimity...Kindly issue a revised version

Glossary

Mithai = Films
Dukaan = Regional Industry(West Bengal, Kerala, Maharashtra etc)

i was not just talking about only this article. this is not the first time (i can post article links if you want)
, he continuously mocks audiences and their choices.

and its not magnamity its hypocrisy. the tone that he used explains it all. you can say main dusron ki dukaan ki mithai khata hun and its ok but you can't say main apne dukaan ki mithai nahin khaata hun( he meant mere dukaan ki mithai kharab hai). acc to him he didnt even see the movie and says i dont want to see that movie, then goes on to say watch this marathi movie and you will forget those movies and their controversies. you dont have to put one movie down to praise another.

Yes he should watch epically panned and financially disastrous Broken Horses.

why people generally say they have not watched it ...genuinely they say or ego or liars...

many times if asked to different actress or actors or directors...

Bold - I am discussing about a issue pertinent to this thread ...and not letting any baggage cloud my thinking...else the discussion goes on till the cows go home...and nothing conclusive comes out.

Primarily he said I dont watch Hindi movies these days...in this article "These Days"was selectively edited

...even if I use this article as sacrosanct and avoid reading between lines ...I still agree with him ...its not worth wasting time on Pooja ki Thalis & Skyscraper jumping ...so what if it is a product of his Industry

why do you want to force him to watch something that sucks at a gun point.

In my view that is intolerance

Bold - I didn't hear any tone...may be I am not gifted😆

UL - Its a possibility he meant that...and I wish he did and agree with him too...but it is also possible that he wants to explore other industries (Mithai) to get a different flavour...or has some other priorities these days ...you are assuming a lot.

Red -If he saw the movie...He would have said I have seen it...and this thread wouldn't have existed.
You are trying to be his proxy and decide for him ...don't undermine his intelligence😆 ...besides people make their decision based on reviews(not by watching and deciding whether to watch or not)...and he has one such film critic by his bedside.

Blue - which article are you reading😆 ...which movie did he put down ...He didnt make any comparison between ADHM & Ventilator ...assumption again...He just said I dont watch hindi movies these days.

P.S - Magnanimity because he is stepping outside his domain (Hindi FI) & being generous to other

Not Hypocrisy because he is not saying my Industry rocks ...and Rest suck

isme intolerance kahan se aaya? who is forcing him to watch any movie? but definitely people can have different opinions and can react to his statements and discuss it. the point here is whether what he said is hypocrisy or not? thats it. anyways lets agree to disagree.
acc. to me he is an arrogant snob and its absolutely ok if you don't think so.
