Chitrangda Singh who was to be seen opposite Nawazzudin Siddiqui's "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz" has walked out of the project.

If reports in an entertainment portal are to be believed, Chitrangda was forced by the director Kushan Nandy to do a sex scene.

A source was quoted by the website, "Kushan got a bit too engaged in the scene in question, which required Nawaz to only pull Chitrangada roughly on the bed and realise that someone is watching them. Kushan was not happy with the first take. He thundered: Chitrangada, you ought to get literally on top of Nawaz. Tange ragdo and s*x karo." (sic)

Further the report states these statements by the director didn't go down well with Chitrangada who instantly snapped back at him. But, Kushan asked her to talk about it privately. To this she lost her cool and retorted at the director, "Now that you have started it in front of so many people, why end it in a place away from them? What do you think of yourself, Kushan?"(sic)

Even after all this drama unfolded, the actress completed the shot in three takes and walked away from the sets in tears.

We tried contacting Chitrangda but she remained unavailable for comments.

Just saw this on IF's main page. I was disgusted first. And the second thought was - most probably many directors talk like this only. This is one dirty industry.

I dont see anything wrong . The director's job is to make sure a scene is perfect

He could have explained better, the words if they were used exactly are really harsh and rude. Actually demeaning as if she is a po*n star.

these scenes are always uncomfortable for all the actors involved. Couldn't he use better words and causing the heroine to cry ? Is showing basic decency and using appropriate language such a difficult job ?

When the actors sign a movie they know what they are doing . If u cant do sex scenes, dont sign such movie. The director might have went too far but its their job to correct a scene

Ok, that's disgusting! If he would've explained it to her in gentler words she would've been more comfortable. Sex scenes are absolutely the worst to film as per every actor; his words make her sound like a po*n star & himself as a voyeur just waiting for the sex scene to commence. Yuck yuck!!! She should've slapped him & walked off.

Dude, even if you know what you are going to do, you need a comfortable environment to work. No one likes to work in an abusive and pressuring environment.
Director's word was plain disrespectful and demeaning as if she is some CSW whom he bought for Rs. 100.(even they don't deserve that kind of treatment)
Also she has done intimate scenes before so I don't think she got pissed because of it, rather the harsh language from the director which used.

That's can kind of brash. There was a gentler way to approach the situation . He should have made her feel comfortable first. What he did was abs insulting. .🤔
