Varun to star in Abhishek Varman's period drama: SHIDDAT

Abhishek Varman who made his directorial debut with 2 STATES (2014) starring Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhat in the lead roles made a big mark in the industry as the movie collected over 100 cr. Now according to our highly placed sources we hear that the director's next film will be a period drama set in the era 1940-50's and will be a joint venture between Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala. These two co-producers are the same makers who collaborated with the director for his maiden venture. We also know that the film is going to be titled SHIDDAT. Varun Dhawan is going to head the cast of the movie and another actor is going to join Varun in the movie! While two lead actresses are also going to be finalized soon.
