There are loud whispers in the industry that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has removed choreographer, Remo D'Souza, from his film Bajirao Mastani. According to sources, Bhansali was not pleased with the end result of Remo's work and, therefore, decided to re-shoot the dance number from scratch.

The filmmaker, however, dismissed these reports as "malicious and completely untrue." A little more digging revealed that the rumours about Remo's replacement are being spread by a rival choreographer who has made a name for herself ,but is yet to achieve Remo's level of success.

A source says, "This female choreographer has been spreading the rumour that Remo's dance with Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra has not come out the way Bhansali wanted it to and that the latter now intends to re-shoot it. This is completely untrue."

The Deepika-Priyanka dance was shot by Remo in the pinga folk style. "It is not a lavni, as reported. It is an exotic dance form called pinga. Mr Bhansali loves what Remo has done," the source added.
