Starting from Footpath, moving to Awarapan, doing Jannat, and then Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, followed by Dil Toh Bacha Hai Ji, and then Murder 2, showing his versatility in Shanghai... then Ungli, and now Mr X.. - They all were very different from one another. His movies gave super hit music one after the other.

Problem is, he was never recognized. Media ruined him. 🤢 Media pretended to be under 18 5 years ago. Today Media has turned 21. When Emraan Hashmi kissed, Media said Emraan Hashmi films aren't family oriented. Today, Media says, it's all good.

If Emraan was recognized for Awarapan or Even Shanghai, maybe his fate would have been different. Ah, forget getting an award, he wasn't even NOMINATED... for these 2 films If I'm not wrong. What a shame. He was never considered important. Actors like Abhishek Bacchan still get recognized for doing third class comedy, because ha ha ha, son of who?

anyways, its all bullshit. he has proved his skills and versatility numerous times.

I do agree his recent films were shitty and boring like rush and raja natwarlal and even ghanchakkar, but what can one do. He wasn't getting any work despite of giving amazing performances in dirty picture, murder 2, and most importantly shanghai. All with chart buster music that played a billion times on tv. I guess, it all breaks down to, Looks matter in Bollywood, if you aren't as good looking as the actor next to you, then you're zeroed out. and Monkeys like Emraan Hashmi can never climb this ladder.

but I do agree with 1 thing, I dislike when bollywood actors say we don't watch bollywood movies. and emraan is one of them. and I feel if you can't appreciate what you have or what you do, then it's not gonna stay with you for long.
