I actually did favor to Salman Khan, comparing him with Hollywood actor Dev Patel. Dev is a world renown actor whereas Salman is kind of regional actor which is very popular in India only.

This is actually true. Dev Patel is of Indian origin, a Brit-Indian who worked in an Oscar winning movie, had a really serious r/ship with one of HW's exotic flavours, worked on a popular Brit show as a teen... He's more famous than Salman. Salman has a much much bigger status but within India.



Dev's more international. And he's far , far younger than Salman. Dev would be more known by a wider set of people than Salman. Salman would be known only by the Indian diaspora.
