Sources associated with the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, have informed us that television couple Shilpa Saklani and Apurva Agnihotri have been approached to participate in its seventh edition.
The couple was last in the news in May 2012, for testing positive for drugs at a rave party, which was busted.
Says a source, "Shilpa is keen on participating in the show and is as good as confirmed, but Apurva is still contemplating the offer. He is the quieter one of the two and is an introvert. He has inhibitions about being under camera surveillance 24/7. Whether or not Apurva will agree to get locked up in the house will be clear in a few days."
Both Shilpa and Apurva didn't revert to our text message.
Other names confirmed on the show this season are Pratyusha Banerjee €" the original Anandi, Kamya Punjabi and Kushal Tandon.
Gurdeep gained fame playing Dr Juhi in Sanjeevani and is currently a part of Disney's Best of Luck NikkiSeason 3.
Gurdeep was also seen in the movie Rowdy Rathore.
When we texted this Sindoor Tere Naam Ka actress she confirmed her participation in the series.
Other confirmed names that are doing rounds are Pratyusha Banerjee and Kushal Tandon. However, there are many other names who have been approached for the show but are yet to sign the dotted lines.
This will be Gurdeep's third tryst with the non-fiction format, earlier she had taken part in Nach Baliye with her husband Arjun Punj. She has also been a part of Get Set Go.
Gurdeep will have to stay away from her three year old daughter on entering the house of controversies.
We contacted the channel but did not get any response till the time of filing the story.
