Anupam Kher was seen interviewing Ranbir Kapoor during the series 'An Actor Prepares' in Mumbai. Ranbir and Anupam discussed 'acting' in detail, in the interview.

Ranbir Kapoor was the latest actor to share his experiences with students of Anupam Kher's acting school Actor Prepares today. Introducing Kapoor, Kher said that the actor had emerged as the fastest growing talent to emerge among the main stars in the business. 'The unique aspect of Ranbir as an actor is that in each of his films he has emoted different characters, and with a great deal of credibility, yet maintaining his star status,' said Kher. In keeping with the format of the programme, Kapoor had a freewheeling and candid conversation with Kher, who quizzed him about his early days in the industry, his style of acting, how he researches his characters and his advice to budding actors. While confessing that he was basically a shy person, Kapoor acknowledged that he would lose that shyness in front of the camera. 'When the cameras roll, I get a sense of purpose. I start thinking that I am doing a job, so that is how I overcome my shyness', he revealed. 'Family lineage or connections do not matter in the long run……..There is no substitute for hard work,' was Kapoor's advice to the students.
