Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is looking forward to the release of his directorial debut "Ata Pata Lapata" and says that he has incorporated his personal experience of last 10 years in the musical satire and wants people to enjoy it.
"This is a musical satire and I have tried to include everything that has been happening around me for the last 10 years. Those who can understand the depths of the film should enjoy it, and the rest can enjoy the music," he said.
Written and directed by Rajpal himself, "Ata Pata Lapata" is set to release Oct 12. The cast includes actors like Asrani, Ashutosh Rana, Vijay Raaz, Mukesh Tiwari and late Dara Singh. Rajpal too features in it.
"We want your good wishes for the film and I request everyone to see it first and then decide whether you liked the film or not," he said at the launch of the film's music Saturday.
Talking about his expectations from his first directorial venture, Rajpal said: "I was telling my cast that we should assume that the movie is bad, after that whatever we make from the movie will be like a bonus for us. But after seeing the love and positivity that the audience has given us today, I feel so grateful."
Amitabh Bachchan launched the music of "Ata Pata Lapata" and said that he has been "fortunate to work with him (Rajpal)".
"Very few people know about his good qualities. There was a time when he didn't have any work and now he has come such a long way. It's his hard work. We are here to support him and give him our good wishes," added Big B who teamed up with him in 2005 hit film "Waqt: The Race Against Time".
Rajpal has been a part of many films like "Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh", "Garam Masala", "Hungama" and "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya".
