It always amuses me that Jeetendra almost got married to Hema Malini. Just imagine: if that had happened, Esha, Tusshar and Ekta Kapoor - none of them would have existed! All of them erased in one fell swoop. Desi television would have been saved from the vampire that is Ekta. 😆

On the other hand, we wouldn't have had Hum Paanch and The Dirty Picture. 😔

Nothing to do with the 90's, but apparently Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Vidya Balan had an affair during the filming of Parineeta...he apparently was completely smitten with her! And she obliged, since it was her first big break! She was also rumored to have an affiar with the director of the film, a man several years her senior!
