Moral of the story:
Abhishek is from a family with good upbringing. He respects elders adn will not say anything bad or wrong about them. So go ahwad and say things about him and be happy. I challenge them to say about the young bunch og actors who gives it back good😆😆 then these so called socialites of page 3 will keep their mouth where it belongs.
PS: I know he has given flops..but he survived... His daddy did not make movies for HIM...his daddy did not even launch him....so if he got movies for his name then it was his luck. NO ONE would put money if they knew it will not make a return just because he is Big B's son. Abhi struggled, he flopped he came back....
I admire his courage.
Next thing people brought up was "Would Ash have married Abhi if he was not Bachchan???"....well in a normal family not from bollywood..you marry in a family with decent money status. You do take dad's name in accont so why only name Abhi....
We can also say "Would Suzzane have married Hritik is he was a struggler??" or Would Salman be a mega star is he was not born into this industry????.
Only few actors I can think of came into this industry on their own - SRK, AKKI and Ash...

If you love someone, you stay with them forever. Suzzanne and Hrithik were childhood lovers...lol they got married right after he debuted in bollywood also. Same with Srk's wife, they were a couple since they were 14 or 15 years old

I think Aish would've married Abhi even if he wasn't from a star family background. Abhi is the most sweetest bollywood actor ever. He's very humble and down to earth. I think all these people are speaking negative about ABhi because they know he wouldn't say anything back to them. Just like you said, Lovanika. They should try talking crap about other people and they'll get the treatment that they deserve...lol
salman is a self-made for me ...lol because I didn't know about he's father. All I knew was that I loved him because of he's style, sense of humor and screen presence back in the 90's

Verbal spat between ad man Prahlad Kakkar and Abhishek Bachchan
By Bollywood Hungama News Network, October 28, 2010 - 14:40 IST

Verbal spats in Bollywood are nothing new. Almost every second person from the industry has been into some verbal spat or the other. Examples of this are dime a dozen in the industry.

The latest one is something which can be called as a most unlikely one. It started off with the celebrated ad man Prahlad Kakkar speaking at the Mumbai Film Festival. He started off at the forum saying "Why use a good actor when you can have a nephew? And if you have to create stars anyway, why not from the family? It is hence very difficult for men to become stars. But since Bollywood does not want their women to be in films, females have a better chance of becoming stars or starlets. Men stars are usually useless nephews and sons," he said at a forum. No. he did not end there. He went on to 'cite an example' in the form of Abhishek Bachchan. He said, "Abhishek Bachchan has 17 flops in a row and is still going strong. He is unique and should be in the Guinness Book of Records." Needless to say that, this statement garnered an uproarious laughter from the gathering.

Retaliating to this, Abhishek tweeted "I love Prahlad Kakkar, he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. Maybe then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son. Hmmm. Oh ya, Prahlad, I'm already in the Guinness book of world records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same someday."

Bollywood Hungama will update you with 'further developments', if any, that is!

PS: Let the war of words begin..

Totally agree...it is like looking yourself in the mirror....why start it....becasue someone is going to finish it for sure...and you might not like it....so next time Prahlad Kakkar will hopefully think before hitting anyone below the belt.
What he said is not new...Abhi in his interview many a times have said that. He owe his success to his dad and mom. HE is not hiding it so why keep putting that in in face....
PS: I remember during his Yuva days...a numerologist had told himt hat if you change your last name to a different spelling it would change your fortune and you would become succesful. But Abhi simply refused to do so, he said "After so many flops I am still getting roles thanks to my last name...successful or not but I am not going to change my last name"....that is how down to earth Abhi is.....

Out of all the Bachchans I only like Abhishek but i cant help it and agree with what Kakkar said. Abhishek tends to pick the worst movies and most of his movies have been disasters at the box office!

But putting his career aside, Abhishek is very funny, down to earth and humble and i love the fact that he interacts with his fans on twitter!
