Dia Mirza has the Look!
Dia Mirza's sexy new look developed by image consultants Shantanu and Nikhil Mehra for The Acid Factory has become a popular download and is helping to boost her career as she works hard to regain her position in Bollywood.
The former Miss Asia Pacific who is half-German – real-name Dia Mirza Handrich – briefly studied Film in New York before joining the film industry. The hard-working actress has appeared in movies such as Blackmail, Parineeta, Dus, Fight Club – Members Only, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, Dus Kahaniyaan, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Krazzy 4.
Despite putting in competent performances in all her films, Dia has yet to find the golden touch – but she is unworried by this: "I haven't had many successful films in my career," she says, "Luckily, however, there has been a big change in the film industry in terms of the kind of films being made now. So you will see more of me in the near future … I'm doing the kind of films I want. Whatever I'm doing is satisfying me."
Her upcoming films, other than The Acid Factory, include her work with Arshad Warsi called Kaun Bola (or possibly Chance Pe Dance), filmed in London and Cape Town, Kisaan, Johnny Mastana and Alibaug with Sanjay Dutt.
