Arjun...
I entered in house with Sameer...With lots of thoughts in my mind...First one is hasitation...which always come when we are at new place...An awkwerdness...As its place of my boss...With whom I am working since six months...but now he want me considered as his family member...He told me about his relation with my dad...Also about his wish to do something for my dad...
Happiness...For a unknown reason...But one thing bug me...Why I am feeling scared to be here...Yes...l am feeling scared ..Arjun Rawte who never care about anything...Never ever care about anything is afraiding with unknown reasons...
Sameer called my name I looked up...He show me way ...I followed him inside...Its not a big banglow...Yet it's a perfect house...We settled in hall...My eyes scaned whole area...
Soon Uncle means Mr.Aanad arrived and joined us...He asked me to not to call Sir at home...So I am calling him uncle...After greeting each other I said thanks to him for his help...He again told me that there is no need to say thanks...So stop saying that..
I sat there for five minutes...Looked each and every corner...Hall is attached with three room ...And a stair which leads to tarrace I guess...
Just then a girl come there...She is wearing a blue colour kruti with chudidaar...She looks pretty...Mr.Anand smiled at me introduce her... "She is my elder daughter Piya..."
I said hello...She too replied back smilingly...She is elder then me...Sam leave from there as he has work... But I stayed there...
Then Mrs.Aanand came there with her other two daughters...first one is little girls...Who is nearly at 11 or 10 I guess...She had spects on her little eyes...She smiling ran to her father..And stand beside him...She murmured something in his ears...In response he nodded...
Finally she start indroducing with her own... "Hello...Me khushbu...U can call me Khush..." saying that she extended her hand...Smilingly I shake hand with her...
I am going to introduce myself...But she start again... "Aur aap Arjun bhai...Right??" My lips curved into a big smile...As first time someone called me Bhai...I nodded my head controlling my emotions...
She start again... "Ye meri mumma hai...(she point at women..) She is the best...And Piya di se to aapka introduction ho gaya...So ye meri Chutki di...Sara di...(She point at other sis) Hum na four sisters hai...Me sabse choti...(she thought for while then look here and there...and continue..) Saki kaha gayi..."
I hear her name for whom I am waiting to meet since I entered in this place...I started looking here and there for her...Her elder sis reply that catch my attention... " Terrace pe hai Sakshi..."
I glanced at stairs...Want to go there and meet her...Whom I like...Yes I like her...We are classmates and she is the one who impressed me in this six months short time...I want to become her friend but her introvert nature always stop me...Everytime I look into her eyes...She quickly look down..I know she is shy girl...But something more is there...May be fear...But for what???
"Arjun ...Don't hasitate for anything...You can considered its as your own house...Okk??" I came out from my thought as uncle again assured me...I nod my head...
Khush then asked me to come with her as she wanted to show her house...I went with her as Mr.Aanand also agreed with her...
She show me everyones room...First one is her parents...Second one is Sameer's room...Third one is their room...
She excitedly dragged me their...It's a nice room...All walls are painted with differently...One has lots of flowers...Other one has written 4 stars in double writing...In every single alphabet their name is written...S had piya...T has Sara...A has Sakshi...A thought come in my mind that A as Arjun...I smiled then smacked myself...For thinking something like that...R has khush..I smiled at their decorations...I big bed placed in room...And little cupboard...A big LCD t.v...
She shook me and I looked at her "Ye hum sisters ka room hai...(she point at bed ) Yaha hum teeno sote hai..Me.. Piya di aur Chhutki di..." I am going to ask about Sakshi...But that little radio start again... "Aur Saki bahar hall me soti hai...She likes that place..." saying that she offered me to seat on bed...Just then her Piya di arrived there...
"Khush bohot paka liya...Wo thak gaye honge...Inhe ab kuch dikhana hai to inka room dikha do...Baki sab baad me batana...(khush make a pouting face..I smiled at her...She looks cute...Piya turned towards me...And con...) Sorry...Arjun...ye aisi hi hai..." "Sorry bolne wali konsi baat hai...I am enjoying with her... (Then I offer my hand to Khush and ask...) Chale mera room dekhne??"
She became happy and jumped out of bed smilingly...Taking my hand in her little hand she leads me to terrace saying that my room is there...She open the door...Enter inside...I followed her...There are so many flower pots on the terrace...Each one with different type of beautiful flowers...It look so beautiful...I am busy with those flower when I here her shout...
"Ye raha aapka room..." I look at the door and nodded to her...She catch me looking at flowers again... "Beautifull hai na...???Meri Saki itna care jo karti hai...She love it..." She said proudly...And I nodded at her...I like Sakshi's new name...
Khush then dragged me to my room...My room's door had attached with another three stairs...Leading to another tarrace...
I step into my room...Its not that big or small...Just perfect...Its beautifull one...All things are arranged perfectly...I scaned each side...There were some drawings and music player also...Turning towards Khush I asked... "Ye sab kiska hai??" (pointing at drawings and MP)
She smiled and said "Ye sab drawings meri hai aur baki sab Saki ka hai...Use ye place bohot pasand hai..."A cute smile was playing on her lips while talking about Saki I mean Sakshi...
I asked " Achcha aur kya pasand hai aapki saki ko??" "Use singing pasand hai...teaching pasand hai...Masti karna pasand hai...Aur sab se importantant use sabke face pe smile lana pasand hai..."Hearing her parise I get amazed my thoughts...
My heart wish to know her more and more...For the first time this is happening to me...My curiosity increased to meet her...I asked Khush "Waise Khush apki Saki hai kaha??"I bent a little to come exact her hight and asked...
"Wo rahi Saki...Chalo..." She come out from room and point at her...She is sitting on bench at a upper part of tarrace...Khush made her way towards there...Me to climb stairs behind her...To meet Sakshi...
She stop in mid way...and say... "Oh...God..."smacking her hand on her forhead slowly...I laugh a little at her antics then asked what happens...She just ran from there saying meet you after hour...Bye...
I looked at Sakshi...She is sitting on bench lost in her thoughts...Gazing at noisey road side views...Her Black duppatta is waving in air...But she didn't care about that...Like busy with really important thoughts...
I went near the bench and called her softly "Hi Sakshi..." Turning around she look at me and quickly stand up...We both look in each others eyes... And as always she again looked down...I gave her head to toe look...She is wearing yellow kurti with black chudidaar and dupatta...Looking beautifull..For the first time I am watching her in this attire...In this simple attire she looks awesome... "Hi..." Her voice pulled me back in real world...
We stand there for five minutes...I feel really awkward...She didn't utter a single word...Don't know what is going through her mind...Me too finding word...From where to start...
She just stand quietly "Kya hum friends ban sakte hai???" Extending my hand I blurted out what want to do since we met or should I say since we saw each other...Hoping that it's the time to start friendsip...
She look up at me...I smiled at her innocent look...But next moment she surprise me by her answer "Mujhe kuch kaam hai hum baad me baat karte hai..."Saying that she ran from there...I stood there dumbfoldedly...Not understanding the reason behind her answer and action... I feel hurted ...Don't know why...
But then I brush up my thoughts thinking that she might be busy that's why she did that ...and there is no reasn to feel bad...
I entered in my room to get fresh n up...Being fresh I jumped on bed as am feeling really tired...Wanted to sleep...I closed my eyes...But to my bad that terrible scene again came infront of my eyes...Their screams again start echoing in my ears...
I sat back with jerk...Sweating badly...I start taking deep breaths then finally feel batter...Since years I hadn't have a peacefull sleep...Every night that haunted time of my life always made me restless...Disturbed my sleep...
Knock on door snaped me out...I stand up and opened the door...Its that little radio again...Khush...I give her space to enter in...She entered and set on chair beside bed...
She look me carefully...I get confused by her look...Finally she asked "Aapko itna sweat kyu ho raha hai..."I wipe it quickly and try to divert her mind "Nothing...Aise hi...Tum batao miss little radio...Yaha kaise...Kuch kaam tha???" "Nahi aise hi...Wo aap akele the to me aa gai aapko company dene..."She stopped smilingly...
"Hmm...Little radio...Nice mame Khush..." She pat her shoulder like feeling proud on her new name...She then tap her finger on her lips like thinking something ... "To phir aap Saki ko kya bulaoge?? Wo to mujhse bhi jyada baate karti hai..." "Really??" I asked confusingly...
"Aur nahi to kya...Wo to ek number ki bakbak queen hai...Issiliye to ham dono ki itni banti hai..." She again start blabbering about her and her sis...I get surprised by knowing Sakshi's talk and antics...Cant believe...Is she really that Sakshi whom I met means saw at school??? But cant deny the fact that I m enjoying knowing her more...
AT NIGHT...
Its two at night...Still I am awake not wanted to drifted in that restless sleeping...But at this time I am happy...As after so many years I got family's love...For which I am craving from so long...
Uncle and aunty is really treating me like their own son...Aunty's care remind me my mom's love and care...Happy to being bhai of khush...
But still what surprised me is Sakshi's behavior...She didn't even talk to me after that terrace met...Like ignoring me...But why??
I feel my throat get dried...I start looking for water...But jug was empty so now I have to go down to take water...
As I climb the stairs and came down ...Found whole house sinking in darkness...I switch on hall's light...And found a beautifull scene infront of my eyes...
Sakshi is sleeping half covered with blanket...Her face and hands are out of blanket...There is pillow but instead of sleeping on it...She is on otherside...Her hand were clutching a little heart shape pillow...Her some loose strand of hair playing on her face...
I stared at her for some good minutes...Then made my way towards kitchen...I start looking here and there for glass...
"Kya dhund rahe hai aap??" I turned around hearing a sweet caring voice...Sleeping beauty standing here but again as always looking down rubbing her eyes...
Instead of replying her I asked "Tum jag rahi thi??" "Nahi..Wo mujhe lights me nind nahi aati..." I turned my gaze towards hall...And crushed myself disturbing her peacefull sleep...Because of me she is awake...
"Sorry ...Mere wajah se..." Before I complete she said "Its okk..Kahiye kya chahiye aapko??" I saw her emptied jug...She got what I mean...Still I said "Glass dhund raha tha..."
She didn't say anything just came in as she was standing at door...She slide cupboard's door...And take a glass out...I extend my hand...But giving a quick glance...She made her way towards fridge...
She filled the glass with water then offered that glass to me..Muttering thanks I took the glass from her...And our fingers touched...We looked at each other...Just for few seconds...
She quickly took her hand back...I drink water meanwhile she filled the jug...And placed there...She asked again "aur kuch chahiye??" "No..."I replied...
Next moments she left from there without uttering any other word...Leaving me confused again...Why she is behaving like this????
