No one is trying to convince you, but such mentality being spread against adopted kids affects the most vulnerable people in our society. Different government have been working for decades to help adopted kids but such shows and their fans are dragging us back to the middle ages.

So every time these agendas are spread they need to be called out.

The point is NOT about her being adopted! The point is she’s rude and disrespectful. As far as equality goes, Anupamaa’s birth children are shown to be just as rude and disrespectful. Does that mean we shouldn’t give birth to children? No, it means we should give them structure and discipline so they function properly in society, and that applies to adopted children too. No one watching this fictional, over the top show is going to say, “I’m not going to adopt because of this show”. This show does more damage for second marriages; joint families; life in America, than adoption.🤦🏽‍♀️

No one should blame a child whose mother ran away and left her, for being vulnerable or acting up.

Indians really need to understand how PTSD etc works. And as I said she was never shown behaving badly except in front of Anupama or when discussing Anupama, who is the source of her trauma.

Yet social media is full of posts from RG fans calling her ganda khoon, saying she should have been left back at the orphanage and saying no one should adopt kids. Including some on this forum.

Many people do copy shows and celebrities blindly, not just in India but all over the world. They are easily influenced by what shows show. Which is why we have rules and regulations. Why do you think now we have a ruke that they cannot show people smoking and drinking on ITV and Indian movies without warnings?

Also when people claim things like - a mother leaving a small, adopted, kid and running away is for the happiness of the kid - it's difficult to believe they are acting in good faith.

We are still discussing whether Adhya is a villain, brat whatever? Trying really hard to prove she is a villain, are we?

According to the discussion here,

One side's argument is:

1. Adhya is a spoilt brat who is disrespectful, rude etc.

2. She was the cause of the accident.

3. She is the reason Anuj-Anupama divorced.

4. She is manipulating and controlling her father's life.

Anything missed?

Another side says,

a. Adhya has been subject to emotional abuse and constant neglect which built insecurities in the child. Her fears were turned true during the accident which her mother never bothered to assure otherwise, instead, her biggest fear if abandonment turned true when the same mother Abandoned her and left.

b. She grew up to be a healing under treatment but her panic attacks re-surfaced on meeting her mother who abandoned her.

c. Despite pleading with her father to keep her away, the one person who had seen her plight forced her to meet the source of her trauma repeatedly. When her pleas went on deaf ears, she protested violently to the extent of self-harm to express her displeasure and pain which was again ignored.

d. She sees her father falling weak to his heart so much that he is betraying the one woman who fulfilled the mother she never had. She tries her best to stop her father from doing the wrong thing And see the reality from his illusions.

e. There is a shootout at her school where she shows exemplary bravery to save herself and Pari only to witness the same scene or ignorance and more importantly, seeing the only mother she ever saw, Shruti being brutally injured compounding to her trauma.

f. She witnesses the cheating that both her parents are doing with Shruti. Her pleas to herself be kept at bay from the source of her trauma and to be loyal to Shruti are blatantly ignored. She is now taking her frustration out on inanimate objects because her parents who claim to love her chose to ignore her pleas in ALL forms.

Isn't it better for both to approach Child Services or Take Legal action against Adhya?

Let the law take it's course. Atleast there will be a more rational argument.

What do you think the outcome would be?

Pakhi: was the Apple of her parents eye, got everything she DEMANDED, never respected her mother or elder brother. She got everything, had the perfect family but she still hates and disrespects her mother. Claims who is anupama toh stop her as she didn't even meet her in these years forgetting she too didn't do it (she wasn't a kid)

Adhya: was such a sweet kid, she was always taught to sacrifice, I still remember the time she lost the dance competition because of anupama's negligence but didn't show her sadness, she was ABANDONED by her mother at a very young age WITHOUT any justification, she had her doubts regarding her mother but the sweet MAA didn't bother to clear them and just LEFT tearing her pic. She is rude to anupama and shah family which they rightfully deserves. I remember the times she was mistreated by them too. So everything is even now I guess
