I feel only Anuj is responsible for that. Anupamaa never cared for her to make her the next Anupamaa of SH.
I read it that Kavya is going to take care of Adhya.
Kavya might torcher her because she thinks Aadhya is the reason of MaAn seperation.
We all know Kavya is the Maahan Anupamaa Andh Bhakt. Like this she can take revenge on Adhya.

I will blame both Anuj and Anupama for Aadhya's fate according to the reports if they turn out to be accurate.
Anupama : Anupama takes some time to think about adopting Aadhya even though Anuj had dropped the bomb of adoption on Anupama after they got married. Anupama had the option of saying NO to Anuj's decision of adopting Aadhya. But she happily agreed to adopt Aadhya even though she had failed as the mother of her own children Toshu, Samar and Pakhi. The following events are responsible for Aadhya hating Anupama.
01. Anupama preparing a cake for Pari on the occasion of her 2nd birthday.
02. Saving Kinjal and Pari 1st in the car accident that happened due to Aadhya.
03. Saving Pari 1st in the shoot out that happened at Aadhya and Pari's school in the US.
04. The death of Aadhya's biological mother Maya in an accident.
05. Anupama abandoning Aadhya when Anuj spoke the truth on the day of the accident 5 years ago.
06. Anuj breaking his engagement with Sruthi even though the latter did the right thing in the Cockroach Biryani Fiasco.
Reasons 4, 5 and 6 are responsible for Aadhya getting deprived of a mother's love.
Anuj : Anuj was also 19 years old roughly when Anupama had got married to Vanraj. Ideally 19 years is not the age for any girl to get married. Anuj, heart broken leaves for the US and becomes a big billionaire business man. Anuj could have got a suitable girl for himself in the US for getting married. He did not think about having a family for 45 years. In real life it is difficult to get a life partner at the age of 45, but Anuj invites his own misery by marrying Anupama. As if the mess he had inherited (Anuj had inherited the toxic baggage of Anupama with her ex family by marrying her) for himself was not enough, he decides to adopt Aadhya instead of spending some quality time with Anupama. (Usually a married couple think of spending some quality time with each other). But here was Anuj, who without any iota of shame not thinking about having a family for 45 years, adopts Aadhya when he and Anupama go on a honey moon trip to Mumbai. Anuj shamelessly was after Anupama even though he got engaged to Sruthi for Aadhya's sake. Finally, this cheater breaks his engagement with Sruthi who sacrificed her career for him and Aadhya. And Anupama was responsible for Aadhya getting deprived of a mother's love for a 3rd time.
Aadhya was correct when she said that Anupama is a home breaker and broke a happy family with Anuj, Sruthi and Aadhya. Anuj and Anupama should not have got married and also should not have adopted Aadhya when they could not become good parents to her.
Anuj deserves to become a beggar for cheating a lovely girl like Sruthi and not marrying her at the appropriate time.
The harsh reality is that Anupama neither cared for Anuj nor cared for Aadhya after marrying Anuj. She had always prioritized her ex toxic ex family. Anuj and Aadhya were crushed under the weight of Anupama's baggage with her toxic ex family.

Her jogan phase proved the best for everyone. Batao, pehla serial jisme titular character ke invisible rehne se sab achcha hota ho.
Just from a writing perspective, Dimpy would have made such a great FL than Adhya. Ugh, Shahi cannot make a single progressive choice.
