CHAPTER - 9

On the other side,the moment from which Ananya separated from Akash and left with those people,she constantly enquired about when she would be able to see Akash again and was there any way to contact him.In reply,the people only again and again avoided her question or either replied her affirmatively that when she would be joining her new job they would inform Akash and she would be able to meet them.While Ananya was coming there,she found many girls of her age were residing in that place.Ananya asked one of the men,"Ye saari larkiya bhi kya meri tarah yaha aayi hai Hjob ke liye?"One of the men replied,"Ha aur abhi tum yaha araam karo,kal tumhe apne pehle client se milne jaana hai.Vo bohot bare aur rich client hai,in saari larkiyo mein unhone sirf tumhe pasand kiya hai us job ke liye."Ananya nodded her head.A woman came to her aid named Saayra and the men whispered something in her ears and then said to Ananya,"Ye Saayra hai,abse yehi tumhaara khayaal rakkhegi jabtak tum yaha ho."The men left and Saayra took her to her respective floor.While walking towards her floor,she found that all the girls were walking here and there with vulgur make-up and equally complementing that with some exposing dresses.She felt very weired on seeing those things and asked Saayra,"Ye saari larkiya aise ajeeb se kapre pehenkar kaha ja rahi hai?"Saayra replied,"Oh!!Ye sab to models hai photoshoots ke liye ja rahi hai.You know we have lots of contacts with big fashion houses.Don't worry you too will be joining them."Ananya stopped on hearing what she said and confusingly asked,"Kya matlab???Mujhe bhi aise kapre pehenne honge?"Saayra laughed and replied,"Oh no!!Tum model thori hi ho tum waha kaam karogi,you know...as designer ya phir kisi achche designer ke under."Ananya followed Saayra to her room and she left asking Ananya to take some rest and after sometime,she will be served her dinner.While Ananya was sitting alone in her room,she was thinking the moment after she left Akash.She was feeling very strange,feeling of fear,suffocation and confusion After sometime,a lady came with Ananya's dinner.Ananya smiled on seeing her,but she didn't smile back on seeing her,instead she was very frightened while looking at her.Ananya felt very weired on looking at her.The woman walked near her and in a warning tone said,"Pehli baar aayi ho na yahapar???Bhaag jaao!!Bhaag jaao yaha se!!Varna ye duniya tumhe nigal jaayegi.Hamesha ke liye is andhere mein goom ho jaaogi.Chali jaao!!Chali jaao yaha se."Ananya confusingly asked,"Ye sab kya bol rahi ho???Ho kaun tum??"The woman replied,"Main???Mera naam Hayaat hai.Mujhe bhi yaha dher saare sapne dikha kar laaya gaya tha,par ab to main sapna bhi dekhna bhul gayi hu."She almost pounced on her hand and said,"Isiliye keh rahi hu chali jaao yaha se jitna dur bhaag sako bhaag jaao."Ananya replied,"Nehi yaha par mujhe mera Akash lekar aaya hai to main yaha se kahi nehi jaaungi aur tum ye sab kya bakwaas kar rahi ho??Mere jaisi yaha kitni larkiya hi to hai,jo yaha kaam karti hai.Abhi abhi ye saari larki modelling karne hi to ja rahi hai."Hayaat laughed hastily and replied,"Ye larkiya koi photoshoot karne nehi ja rahi hai.Ye saari larkiya...ye saari larkiya high society...escorts hai.Jo yaha apni marzi se kaam karta hai,vo reh jaati hai aur jo nehi manta hai,unhe bahaar ke desho mein,Arab desho mein uche daam par bech diya jaata hai.Tumhaare kismet mein bhi abhi yehi likha hai,isiliye keh rahi hu bachna chahti ho to yaha se bhaag jaao."Ananya remained stunned on hearing what just she had said and screamed,"Kya bakwaas kar rahi ho tum?"Hayaat replied,"Ha!!Main sach keh rahi hu aur tum abhi jis Akash ki baat kar rahi thi na,tumhaare jaisi kahi Hindustani larkiyo ko vo khud yaha laaya hai.Vo unke liye kaam karta hai."Ananya threw away the dinner and replied,"Nehi!!Tum jhut bol rahi ho,mera Akash kabhi aisa nehi kar sakta hai.Main Saayra ko bulaati hu."She didn't believe Hayaat and started screaming Saayra's name and Hayaat tried to stop her but t was too late and Saayra and her men came inside Ananya's room.On seeing her Ananya said,"Dekho na Saayra ye bol rahi hai key aha larkiya koi modelling ya aisa kuch nehi karti hai balki ye log prostitutes hai."Saayra,on hearing that glared at Hayaat and said to her men,"Manaa kiya tha na maine ke isko yaha nehi aane dena to phir isey aise khula kyu chora??Jaao lekar jaao isko!!"The men grabbed Hayaat and started pulling her out and Hayaat,in turn shouted to Ananya,"Chali ja yaha se!!Varna marne ke kaabil bhi nehi rahegi,chali ja!!Chali ja!!"The men finally took them out.Ananya asked,"Ye...sab...???"Saayra smiled and replied,"Oh!!Ye...ye to paagal hai.Vo asal mein ye bhi ek model thi par kuch kar nehi paayi hai na phir upar se iske baad jo larkiya aayi vo sab aagey nikal gayi,to isko mentally bohot bara dhakka laga hai,to yaha jo koi bhi nayi larki aati hai,uske saath vo aisa hi karti hai.You just don't worry.Just go and sleep!!Tomorrow you have a great deal of work to do."Saying Saayra left from there.

Ananya was hell shocked on the events that was happening with her.All the time,she was thinking about the words Hayaat,specially whatever she told about Akash.From the very beginning,the moment she met Akash,she had always felt that something was very fishy with him and he had a very big secret surrounding him,but she couldn't believe that Akash could deceive her.At one point of time,her heart wanted to believe Hayaat's words but at the next moment,when she remembered how passionately he hugged her before leaving.She nodded her head with a force and tried to convince her mind,"Nehi mera Akash aisa kabhi nehi kar sakta hai.Main maanti hu ke uske family mein problems hai par iska matlab ye to nehi hai ke vo koi gairkanooni kaam karega.Hargiz nehi!!Main nehi maanti hu aisa.Jhut bol rahi thi vo Hayaat!!"The moment she tried to convince herself,the next moment only her heart again sank within the ocean of an unknown fear.She felt herself totally lost She tried to sleep but sleep was miles away from her eyes.All the time,she was remembering about Akash and thinking about how to contact him.Suddenly,at the middle of the night,there was a knock at the door of Ananya's room.She was very frightened and pulled the blanket on her body out of fear.But just then she heard Saayra's voice to open the door.On hearing her voice,Ananya gained enough courage and slowly walked towards the door and opened it.When she opened it,she was surprised and asked,"Saayra tum yaha?Iswaqt???Kya baat hai?"Saayra replied,"Iam sorry to disturb you Ananya but you are being called now for our job."Ananya looked at the time and asked,"Itni raat ko???"Saayra replied,"Ab kuch nehi kar sakte hai.Asal mein tumhaara office jaha hai waha pohochne mein bohot time lagta hai to isiliye hume abhi nikalna hoga."She asked some women to come inside and instructed them to help her getting ready.The women entered inside and put some dresses on the bed.Ananya gave a look to those dresses and those were like harem dresses.On seeing them,Ananya asked,"Ye sab kya hai??Mujhe aise kapre kyu pehenne parenge??"Saayra said,"Yehi order hai."Ananya,at last,unable to bear all those things that were happening around her and she said,"Aakhir ye sab kya chal raha hai Saayra mujhe sab kuch janna hai.Pata nehi mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai jaise Hayaat ne jo kuch kaha hai vo sab kuch sach hai aur tum log sahi mein yaha women trafficking ka racket chala rahe ho.Mujhe sach sach bolo aakhir tum log chahte kya ho??Koi kaam karne ke liye aise kapre to nehi pehen kar jaata."Saayra laughed in an evil way and then replied,"Well!!Now that you have come to know everything,so...ya thats right hum yaha women trafficking ka racket chalaate hai aur tumhe bhi yaha isi silsiley mein laaya gaya hai aur ye racket drugs ke tarah purey duniya mein faila hua hai.Yahatak ke ye jo Akash hai na...jisne tumhe yaha pohchaaya hai,vo bhi isi gang ka hi aadmi hai,hamaare liye kaam karta hai."Ananya could not believe what he was hearing and she screamed,"Nehi!!Ye sab jhut hai,mera Akash aisa kabhi nehi kar sakta hai,vo mujhse bohot pyar karta hai main jaanti hu."Saayra again laughed and then said,"Tum aur tumhaar pyar!!!Khair!!Abhi ye kapre pehno aur ye tumhe jaise tayyar karti hai vaise hi tayyar ho jaao."She walked near her and whispered,"Tumhaari...delivery ka waqt ho gaya hai."She smiled in an evil way and instructed the women to make her get ready as soon as possible.Saayra left from there with shouting and fighting Ananya behind her in the room.

After almost half an hour,Saayra came back to take Ananya.When she came inside,she found that Ananya was sleeping on the bed.One of the women said,"She was becoming difficult to control,so we had to give her sedative and then only we were able to make her ready."Saayra replied,"That's ok.It won't be a very big deal.Take her outside."She called someone and informed them that they were about to leave for the meeting point with the girl.They quickly headed towards the venue of the meeting.After they reached the point,Ananya slowly woke up and found that she had reached some unknown place and also found out that her hands and legs were tied up with a rope.Saayra opened her ropes and pulled her towards the people who were waiting for them.Some of the men were from Arab countries who paid for Ananya a big fat amount and purchased her.When all met,the Arab people saw her and got impressed and said,"This woman is much more beautiful than she looked in the picture.I like her.Take her inside our car." Ananya was fighting to ger free herself and seeing that,he buyer said,"Please leave her!!I don't want this beautiful girl getting tortured."So Saayra left her.The Sheikh held her hand softly and than tried to take her with him.Ananya,on getting mad with anger and not thinking what she was doing,she slapped that man right on his face and warned him,"Dubaara agar haath lagay na to haath torkar dusre haath mein de dungi!"The Sheikh laughed out loud and replied,"Sachi kehta hai,gusse mein Hindustani mohtarma tum bohot khubsurat dikhta hai."Saying he pulled her and threw her inside his car.When she was sitting inside the car helplessly with two other men the people outside were busy in making the final deal.Suddenly from the back of the car,two hands emerged and covered both the man's faces and pierced a very sharp instrument on their neck and they passed out.Ananya was spellbound and could not guess what was happening.At that moment,the man showed up and that was none other than Akash himself.On seeing him,Ananya was overwhelmed,without bounds and hugged him tightly.Akash broke the hug and said,"Abhi chalo yaha se,ye sab baad mein kar lena."Ananya asked,"Par tumhe kaise pata chala ke main yaha hu??Tumne mujhe dhundha kaise?"Akash replied,"Baad mein sab bataaunga,par abhi yaha se chalo."Ananya said,"Par yaha bohot khatra hai,dekho vaha log baate kar rahe hai,hum niklenge kaise?"Akash replied,"Just trust me!!Main yaha se tumhe lekar jaane hi aaya hu.Chalo mere saath."Before they leave,Akash put a bomb inside the car and then pulled Ananya out from the back of the car.Akash and Ananya ran towards the safe spot in front of the car which he brought and then there was a sudden explosion.Due to that explosion,all the people who were nearby,got a bit wounded.By that chance,Akash and Ananya got inside the car and he started driving.In order to stop them,the people started shooting at him and without having any option left,Akash too started counter attack.Instead of shooting to kill them,Akash shot in their legs and shoulder and with great difficulty got rid of them and was finally successful in fleeing away from there.

After driving for quite a long time,Akash and Ananya reached Mushtaaq's den.On seeing them Mushtaaq said,"Maine kabhi nehi socha tha ke tum isey lekar aane mein kamyaab ho jaaoge.Mujhe laga tha ke main tumhaari shakal shaayad phir kabhi dekhunga hi nehi."Akash sarcastically smiled and replied,"Shaayad jab dar apne aakhri paraav mein phoch jaata hai tab uska saamna karne ki taaqat apne aap hi aa jaati hai."Mushtaaq nodded his head and replied,"Ab darne ki baari unki hai kyuki jab ek aam insaan apne haath mein hathyaar uthaata hai na aur khaaskar jab uske haatho mein usey chalaane ki taaqat aa jaati hai,to use zyaada khatarnaak aur koi nehi hota."Akash agreed and then Mushtaaq replied,"Kambakht ishq hoti hi aisi cheez hai,jo koi bhi kaam karne ki taaqat apne aap hi de deti hai.Khair abhi tum jaao aur jaakar araam karo,main yaha se tum dono ke nikalne ka intezaam karta hu.Jaao!!"Mushtaaq's men took them to a room.On reaching a room,some women gave Ananya some dresses and she changed it.Akash then asked her to take some rest,but Ananya was in no mood to take rest.She said,"Pichle kuch ghanto mein mere saath jo kuch bhi hua hai uske baad neend mere aakho se gaayab hi ho chuki hai.Main jaha bhi thi na waha vo log mujhse bech dena chahte the,waha ek ajeeb si larki thi...Hayaat aur usne kaha ke tum un logo ke saath kaam karte ho par maine uske baato ka bharosa nehi kiya.Tum aisa kabhi nehi kar sakte ho hai na aur jo larki mujhe un logo ke hawaale karna chahti thi usne bhi kaha ke tum unke aadmi ho.Mujhe sach janna hai Akash aakhir ye sab kya ho raha hai?"Akash sat beside her and gave a deep sigh and replied,Un dono ne jo kuch bhi kaha...vo..."He looked at her and said,"Vo sach hai."Ananya couldn't believe what Akash was saying and she didn't accept that and she said,"Ye sach nehi hai.Sach kuch aur hai aur vo tum mujhse chupa rahe ho.Agar tum unke saath kaam karte to tum mujhe unse bachaane nehi aate aur main ye baat daave se keh sakti hu ke tumne apni jo kahaani mujhe Amsterdam mein sunaayi thi vo bilkul jhuti thi.Sach kuch aur hai aur mujhe vo sach janna hai."Akash nodded his head and replied,"Ha ab main tumhe sab kuch sach sach bataaunga jo jaanne ka abhi tumhe pura haq hai."He started telling his story,"Main mere mom dad aur meri behen Suhaani,hum bohot khush the ek saath.Dad ke retirement ke baad,maine company ki bag dor apne haath mein li.Sab kuch thik chal raha tha,koi kami nehi thi hume,par shaayd bhagwaan ko kuch aur hi manzur tha.Hamaare bure din tab shuru huye jab Suhaani ne college jaana shuru kiya.Waha uski dosti Dhruv Singh naam ke ek larke se hui.Bohot achcha larka tha.Dheere dheere unki dosti pyar mein badal gayi.Humne tey kiya ke hum unki shaadi kara denge.Hum uske ma baap se miley,baat pakki ki aur ek din unki shaadi bhi ho gayi.Shaadi ke baad,ek mahina bhi nehi beeta ke ek din...hamaare ghar mein ek parcel aaya aur us parcel mein ek CD thi.Jab humne vo CD play kiya to humne dekha ke..."Akash's voice became heavy and his eyes were teary.Ananya put her hand on his shoulder and then asked,"Kyat ha us CD mein???"With great difficulty,Akash continued,"Meri behen ko ek drugs khila kar behosh karke letaya gaya hai aur do log uske saath..."He closed his eyes and then continued,"Un logo ne uska video banaya aur vo banaane waala koi aur nehi,Dhruv tha.Usiwaqt uska phone aaya aur usne kaha ke vo ab is video ko public banaayega aur isse dher saara munaafa bhi hoga aur already jitno ke paas ye video hai,un logo ne Suhaani ke liye bohot bar char kar boli lagaayi hai."He angrily made a fist and grinned,"Tab mera dil kar raha tha ke main usey jaan se maar du par meri behen unke kabze mein thi,isliye main kuch kar bhi nehi pa raha tha.To usey bachaane ke liye main bohot girgiraaya tab unhone mere saamne ye shart rakkhi ke is CD ke badle mujhe unke liye kaam karna hoga.Jo nuksaan is CD ko public na banaane ke liye unhe hoga,us nuksaan ki bharpaayi mujhe karni hogi,alag alag larkiyo ko unke paas pohchaakar."He got up from his seat and said,"Isiliye pichle ek saal se main ye kaam kar raha hu.Ye log middle class families ki larkiyo ko job ka jhaasa de kar apne jaal mein phaaste hai aur mera kaam hota hai in larkiyo ko unke ghar se le jaa kar un tak pohchaana.Mere mom,dad,behen sab unke kabze mein hai aur mera ye kaam unhe zindagi deta hai."He looked at her and then said,"Main jaanta hu ke ye sab jaanne ke baad tumhe mujhse nafrat ho jaayegi par tumhe sach bataana mera farz tha jo maine kiya.Ab main tumhe bas waapas tumhaare ghar pohcha du phir mujhe aakhri baar unka saamna karna hoga aur shaayad uske baad main zinda bhi nehi rahu."Ananya walked towards him and replied,"Main agar chahu bhi tab bhi tumse kabhi nafrat nehi kar paaungi kyuki tumne jo kiya main maanti hu ke vo galat hai,par tumhe apne family ko bachaana tha na,tumhaare paas iske alava aur koi raasta bhi to nehi tha.Tumne meri jaan bachaayi hai aur mujhe pata hai ke ab tum ye samajh gaye ho ke unse peecha churaane ka ek hi raasta unka saamna karna once and for all.Jo zindagi un logo ne tumhaare behen ko di hai,vo to maut se battar hai.Ek larki ke liye uski izzat hi sab kuch hai,bina uske vo ek zinda laash hai aur jis ma baap ne apni beti ke saath aisa hote huye dekha ho,usse zyaada aur khatarnaak kya ho sakta hai??Sach hi to kaha hai ke tumhaare paas ab khone ke liye kuch nehi hai,isliye ab jo bhi karo,unhe uske changul se nikaalne ke liye karo.Jitna unhe tumhe torna tha vo tor chuke hai aur aaj tumne mujhe bachaakar unke khilaaf jung ka elaan kar chuke ho.Ab tum peeche nehi hat sakte..."Akash nodded his head and replied,"Ye sab itna asaan nehi hai Ananya!!Ye sab choro aur ghar chalne ki tayyari karo."Ananya disagreed and replied,"Nehi!!Main tumhe chorkar ab kahi nehi jaaungi aur tumne mujhe khud se alag karne ke bare mein socha bhi to main yaha se ek kadam bhi nehi hilungi."Akash said,"Zidd mat karo Ananya..."She hugged him and said,"I love you and I won't live you."Akash gave a deep sigh and hugged her back.
