CHAPTER - 3

Ananya stood still like a statue as if she was seeing a ghost in front of her eyes.Her mouth remained opened and her eyes appeared as if it would now just come out of its hole.Her heart was beating fast.Her nerves stopped responding as if she was hypnotized by his looks like always.Her legs surrendered under the pressure of his appearance.Her brain was totally blocked and she forgot to take breath for about 1 minute.She was fighting with herself.She was brought back to the present world by the sudden scream of Avasthi,"Arey Ananya!Dekh ke!glass ka toota hua kaanch tumhe lag sakta hai."She behaved as if she had just woke up from a very deep sleep.She,with a very shocked attitude stammered,"Uh-vo-I-am re-really very s-sorry.Vo m-mere ha-haatho se...Main abhi..."Without completing her words, she kneeled down to gather the mess,and to her utmost shock Akash,too,joined her.While kneeling down both exchanged a look.Ananya quickly removed her eyes and was not able to look anymore.She looked down to gather the pieces but was well aware that he was staring at her without blinking.In that manner,Akash cut his finger and screamed with a low voice.At this,Ananya forgot her surroundings for a second and held his finger tight and shouted,"Shona!Lagi to nehi?"Akash looked at her with a jerk and smiled again.Ananya cared it with much concern and was about to put his finger on her mouth,but she gained consciousness when Akash winked at her and showed his left hand's finger which was cut and she noticed that she was holding his right hand's finger.She immediately left his finger.Avasthi said,"Arey aap log kya kar rahe hai?Uthiye.Ye sab servant saaf kar dega."Both Ananya and Akash got up.Avasthi noticed Ananya's first reaction on seeing Akash and so asked, "Kyu Ananya chauk gayi na inhe dekh ke?"Ananya gave a painful look towards Akash and replied,"Ha Sir kuch zyaada hi shock ho gayi."Akash smiled and mocked looking at Ananya,"Ji Sir lagta hai ke inhe itnaaa baraa shock laga hai ke left-right ke bich ka fark hi bhul gayi."Avasthi laughed and said,"Chaliye aapka introduction karva du."Pointing towards Ananya,"Ye hai hamari sabse kaabil..." Akash completed,"Sabse hoshiyaar aur most well known crime reporter Miss Ananya Rawat aur ye hai..."pointing towards Rohit,"Sports specialist Mr Rohit Mafatlal"and looked at Avasthi,"Right Sir?"Avasthi was greatly surprised,"Arey vaah Mr Saluja kya aap in dono ko jaante hai?"Ananya stopped breathing for a second.Akash leaned,supporting on the chair's back and looked at Ananya with that piercing smile,"Actually kya hai na Sir,jiske saath zindagi..."and looked at Avasthi,"Uh - I mean kaam baatna ho uske baare mein janna to parta hi hai.Aur saath saath unke kareebi waalo ko bhi."He looked at Rohit,who was standing quietly,but noticing each and every reaction of Ananya right after Akash's entry.Again looking at Ananya asked,"Kyu? Maine thik kaha na Miss Rawat?"He then addressed Avasthi,"Aur Sir please aap mujhe sirf Akash bulaaiye aur no aap only tum."He then moved towards the small shelf inside the cabin and picked up the bouquet,which he kept while gathering the glass pieces and presented it to Ananya,"Beautiful flowers to the most beautiful woman.Its for you."He curved his lips again,"Mujhe yakeen hai ye aapko pasand aayega."She unwillingly and hesitantly took the flowers.Akash continued looking at her when Rohit interrupted and giving a tough look,"To Mr Akash aap itni door se itna thak haar kar aaye hai to aapko nehi lagta aapko aaj ghar jaake araam karna chahiye?"Akash understood its meaning.He said,"Don't worry Mr Rohit..."and looked at Ananya,"Meri thakaan to yaha pe aate hi dur hogayi hai."Avasthi interrupted,"To phir chalo main tumhaara baaki staffs ke saath introduction karaadu."Awasthi took Akash to other staffs and before leaving he gave Ananya a seductive smile.

They all came outside and Avasthi introduced Akash to everyone.All the ladies were continuously looking at him and praising him with their expressions.Ananya,for a second,felt of piercing their eyes with a rod but controlled herself,being confused at her own thought.Akash announced,"One most important declaration.Is office mein sab ke liye main Akash hu par khubsurat larkio ke liye main sirf...well aap log pyar se jo kuch bhi bulaana chahe..Is that clear my dear pretty ladies?"All the girls together shouted,"YEAAAH!"Ananya made a hard fist and pissed her teeth.On seeing this Akash moved towards a hottie and taking her hand in his,winked at her and asked,"Hi gorgeous!You are looking tooo..."and made a naughty expression,"By the way aapka naam..."She hypnotizingly said,"Kaajal"Akash interrupted,"Haaye teri aakho se churaalu."Kaajal blushed.Ananya,on seeing this,deeply desired of giving Akash,a tight slap.Avasthi was enjoying Akash's mishchieviousness.Akash came and stood beside Ananya and murmered,"Dheere varna jwaalamukhi phat jaayega."Ananya looking on other side murmered,"In 2 saalo mein pehle se bhi zyaada bigar gaya hai."Akash heard it.Looking at her,he murmured,"Tum nehi thi na sudhaarne ke liye par don't worry ab pura sudhar jaaunga."She gave a disgusted look to him.Avasthi ordered others to get back to their work.Before going,Kaajal winked and gave a flying kiss to Akash.Akash smiled and returned another flying kiss.Avasthi said,"Ananya ab se tum aur Akash saath mein kaam karoge aur vo abse tumhara cabin bhi share karega."Ananya interrupted,"Par Sir mera cabin hi kyu?Aur bhi to bohot saare rooms hai."Avasthi said,"Main jaanta hu but partners ko hamesha ek hi saath rehna parta hai office mein bilkul do jism ek jaan."Ananya gave a disbelief look to him at his last words.Ananya tried to oppose again but was stopped with finality by Avasthi.Rohit was also getting irritated and was about to say something when Avasthi ordered him to take the interview of the Indian Coach and left towards his cabin.Rohit disappointedly left too.Ananya looked at Akash with disturbing attitude,and as usual to her disgust,he made a mocking baby face at her.Ananya made a low stamp on the ground and moved towards her cabin followed by Akash,"Dheere joote toot jaayenge."He again smiled.

On reaching her cabin,she dashed on her chair in anger and was about to dash the flower in the table,when she is stopped by Akash,"Arey arey itne khubsurat phoolo ne tumhaara kya bigaara hai?Bichaare inko thore hi pata hai ke ye tumhaare haatho mein hai varna tumhaare khubsurti ke aagey ye sharam se vaise hi mar jaate."Ananya stood up with a jerk and moved towards him,"Kyu aaye ho tum yaha Akash?"Akash shockingly replied,"Le yehi nehi pata?Us arms dealing ke maamle mein tumhaari madat karne samjhi."Ananya nodded her her head in disagreement,"Main tumhe achche se jaanti hu tum kisi aur maksad se yaha aaye ho."She raised her finger on his face,"Dekho main tumhe warn...""Shhh!"Akash came more close and put his finger on her lips,"Bohot bolti ho yaar pata nehi Rohit tumhe kaise jhel raha hoga?""Aur vaise bhi..."He slowly cornered her on the wall and passionately asked,"Mujhe tum achche se nehi jaanogi to aur kaun jaanega Ananya?"He continued in the same tone,"By the way tumhaara washroom kidhar hai?"Ananya was speechless when he touched her lips with his finger and could feel the same thrill like earlier,but got irritated when he asked for the wasroom and that too in such a manner.She pointed to the wasroom door.He left for it.Ananya then took a deep breath and slowly sat on the table.She slowly took the flower and smelled it.She closed her eyes to enjoy the smell and unknowingly a smile appeared on her lips.She got the smell of her favourate perfume MOONLIGHT PASSION (fictitious name)and remembered how Akash used to buy this combination of flowers and spread the perfume in it to impress her whenever she is angry."Tumhaara favourate perfume hi hai don't worry"Akash said by coming close to her.Ananya didn't notice him as she was lost in her thought.To break the closeness,she got down from the table.Akash asked very casually,"By the way kya abhi bhi drawyer mein chaabi rakhne ke bahaane meri photo dekhti ho?"She gave a how-do-you-know look.He judged her question on seeing her looks and replied with a smile,"Hum jinse apni jaan se zyaada pyar karte hai,jo hamare dil mein baste hai unki har choti se choti baat ka pata chal jaata hai aur mere liye tum to meri ruh mein basti ho."She looked into his eyes and still could feel the deepness of his words,but in order to break the look and change the topic,she said,"Kaam ke silsilay mein aaye ho thik hai lekin un larkiyo ke saath vo behudi harkatein karne ki kya zarurat thi?"Akash naughtily asked,"Kyu tumhe jalan ho rahi thi?"She was jealous but in order to hide her feelings,"Huh!Jalan aur tumse?Mujhe tumhaare yaha hone ya na hone se koi fark hi nehi parta."She turned her face on the other direction.Akash mockingly asked,"Really?Koi fark nehi parta?"He continued by shaking his shoulder,"Khair kitna fark parta hai vo to meri ungli kat jaane ke time tumhaara reaction dekh ke hi pataa chal gaya tha."He came closer to her,"Hai na? Shooona!" She again made a fist, "Tumhara kuch nehi ho sakta.Tumse to baat hi karna bekaar hai aur bhagwaan jaane ke main tumse baat kyu kar rahi hu?"Akash replied,"Kyuki tumhe achcha lag raha hai,mere yaha aane se tum khush ho chahe kitna bhi gussa ya naraaz hone ka naatak karlo."Ananya fuming with anger said,"Tum na jahannum mein jaao."Akash instantly replied,"Vahi se to aaya hu.Kya karu tumhaare bina sab jagah jahannum hi lagti hai."Ananya shivering with anger,slammed,"Shut Up!"Akash, putting his both hands on his chest,"I love you."Ananya felt like crying out of helplessness,"Jangli saand kahike!"Akash gave her a flying kiss, "Mmmuuuah!Mere kaan taras gaye the yaar.Haaye tumhaare muh se gaali bhi shehed ke jaisi lagti hai aur tab na mujhe tumpe aur bhi zyaada pyar aata hai."Akash moved his hand on his hairs and sang :

TAUBA YE NAKHRA LADKI KA

VAAH VAAH YE NAKHRA LADKI KA

Ananya out of extreme disgust,left her room for Avasthi's and Akash,too,followed her,murmuring from behind,"Aye haaye kya chaal hai!Meri jaan lene ke na ek bhi nuskhe abhi tak bhuli nehi hai."He gave a sigh.
